Thank you for once again proving my point for me... :applause:

Los Angeles Pierce College (Pierce College or Pierce) is a public community college in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California. It is part of the Los Angeles Community College District and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It serves 22,000 students each semester.

Pierce College is government funded and administered, therefore a government action set the violation in motion. Now, find a similar outcome for, say... Liberty University.

    NEXT!

But if you want to be a human being you have to.

There's the reason and that's the choice we all have to make and you have to make for yourself.

I consider the totalitarian sentiment you've expressed through this entire thread treason to humanity but you have the freedom to express it and I'm not going to physically attack you for it.

    You tell me.

    Isn't freedom grand?

It’s to the point where people that assault someone over a hat they don’t like should be shot. I never thought I would ever hear myself say that but this is bloods and crips level of animalistic. Subhuman on full display.

What you continue to GET WRONG is, the attacker is the one in the wrong.. It's our constitution right to freedom of expression.. Why don't you just consider that and move on and stop protecting the aggressor :roll:

It's the other way around. The Right are now the flower children and hippies, and the Left are the prudish authoritarians, disapproving of anyone not adhering to their ideological orthodoxy.

Sorry, but I don't agree with your assessment.

People don't live in a vacuum, and their actions, intentional or not, directly or not, will have an affect on others.

So, although I may assign the legal blame 100/0 toward the woman whom threw the punch, I assign my personal opinion of how I feel about both people differently. And no, it's not all on one person or the other.

I was bullied my whole life for my appearance, up until high school graduation. Even now, I get the occasional tormenting from people in public.

I managed to make it through without resorting to violence, but only because my mother raised me to abhor violence. And although it made me a better person in the long run, there were times I dream on what might have been.

Others aren't as strong as I am. Or maybe they weren't raised the same way i was. That doesn't invalidate their feelings completely, even IF they resort to violence.

You may not agree with me, and that's okay. You may hate me for how I think, and that's okay too. We are on an anonymous internet message board, and honestly, I don't care what anyone here thinks about me.

But I also see many posts from conservative posters. People that, based on their posts, don't care how their words affect others. People that take pleasure in liberal Democrats tears. Enjoy their suffering. That hide behind the moniker of 'personal responsibility', but don't apply the same standards to their words, their actions.

I abhor that sentiment, and it infuriates me. Of course, I am not about to do anything illegal. But it does make me glad that politics is cylindrical. Eventually it will be our turn to laugh at them. It makes me a bit sick to think like that, but I am tired of having to be the door mat, the compromiser, the reasonable one.

Any way, thank you for your time.

Well TL;DR does meet my criteria considering all the other input you have already applied here! So lets just go with all that and the every popular "Sorry, but I don't agree with your assessment." that you have already eluded to and just call it a night LOL :)

The right to swing your fist ends at the tip of my nose.

BTW-we don't even know if the man is a Trump supporter.

He just had a hat similar to a MAGA hat.

It's simple, the minute force is applied that person becomes the aggressor.. I personally don't see the confusion and hardy understand the defensive side in any of this in regards to the person throwing the first blow.. SURE I have read numerous silly reasons why he was justified but clearly those were ridiculous at best :nod::roll:

BTW who he supported is really irrelevant, he is simply the aggressor, period..

I agree with you. But just because an action is illegal doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

And the frequency of these actions is increasing.

So, in your opinion, how should we address this concern? Should we just expect things to continue to get worse until it hits critical mass?

I'm sorry you were bullied because that's a terrible thing initiated by an insecure and immature mindset but you are also justifying bullying by defending the act and in saying he should not have worn a red hat and that in, and of, itself is also bullying.

By publicizing, arresting, and prosecuting the aggressors.

If you think people should give up their freedom for perceived safety you are the problem.

I said this elsewhere and will say it again. They should all have a BIG RED HAT surgically attached to their heads that they cannot remove.

Maybe add a Trump tattoo to their foreheads.
