jesus christ, Joe struggled to beat Rookie Pete. But I see Ms. IRRELEVANT (Warren) couldn't beat the small-town mayor … yet again. LMAO It's OVER, Liz. (It's actually been over for you for a loooong time now.) You might as well just join the trump campaign, at this point. And Amy … please, if this was a prize fight, your corner would've thrown in that towel several rounds ago...
I'm genuinely surprised by that, I thought Pocahantas would do better considering she was the clear winner in the last debate. She completely cleaned Bloomberg's chronometer.
Here's the first and 2nd alignments as they currently stand on AP. Steyer has almost an identical bleed to Bernie's second choice support. Given the distribution among the other candidates, no doubt Bernie's lead grow significantly between first and final alignments in part due to the 15% cut off for viability.
Early voting ended right before the debate. There were something like 75K early votes. Given that we're on pace for ~109K votes total, that was very unfortunate timing for her.
The econony is not serving these people and you hear that from steve bannon . We have a couple of generations that as bannon said own nothing because of our skewed system. Its living wage jobs with some security and not free stuff. We have been here before and it gave us fdr.
What transition? The only program in America that remotely socialist would be Medicaid. Everything else you folks claim as socialist, isn't.
I also pointed out Abrams as a solid VP pick got Bernie. Her focus on expanding the electorate by helping people to vote also pairs well with Bernie, plus being a black woman is a solid bonus of course.
...what an oddly specific mistake to use as justification for the belief that CNN dorsnt have a clue about non-solid blue states.
What you flag is your business. What happened in 2016 was quite remarkable. I saved a newspaper with the headline: TRUMP WINS! Dems lost. It butt hurt some losers so much that they still haven't gotten over it. They cried and then attempted a coup. All miserable failures. Meanwhile, the economy has been great. Everyone who wants to work does. Stock markets have been on fire. Trump effectively erased Obama.
Core ideological schism? How recently did you guys reject and hate all tariffs? How recently did you guys reject and hate all executive orders?
This line really isnt saying very much. You need to consider 2nd choice preferences of the 53%. If even a small percentage has Bernie as their 2nd choice and their first choice (Warren, for example) drops, then Bernie can get to a majority status easily.
He saluted a NK general, promised to pay the North Koreans for the torture of an American, and provided Kim Jon Un with a massive amount of propaganda and recognition all for.................... ................ .................. A participation medal?
Tariffs are a policy issue not an ideological issue. Your side is split between going commie or staying capitalist. Big difference...
Given how quickly South Carolina comes after Nevada, you may be right about Steyer but I think it's about 50-50 that he drops even before SC. In terms of the vote shift for Klobuchar and Steyer, that makes a great deal of sense because those voters almost certainly were not supporting a viable (>15%) candidate at their precinct and would have been provided the opportunity to vote for a viable candidate. Warren, Klobuchar, Steyer, and Gabbard all lost votes during the re-alignment. The thing I find interesting is the amount of increase that Bernie saw during the realignment. A jump of nearly 3500 with 53% reporting, compared to the next biggest jump of around 1200 for Buttigieg...Biden in 3rd with a 500 vote jump. This indicates to be that a lot of people had Bernie as their 2nd choice and a smaller percentage had Buttigieg as their 2nd choice. In terms of turnout, I get the same numbers. Earlier, with only 10% reporting, it was on pace for nearly 140K. But perhaps bigger precincts reported first? Not sure, but a number near 2008 is not going to be too upsetting. Edit: I see now that your point was about the size of the drop off for Steyer vs Klobuchar. It is interesting...perhaps Steyer's supporters are somewhat less willing to die on the sword for him that Klobuchar's.
Bernie just proved that he can win the Hispanic electorate in NV and with Abrams as VP he locks in the Black electorate. The non-college white electorate is declining and Millennials are pissed off and embracing Bernie's Revolution. With that pairing against the criminal IMPOTUS and Ayotollah Pence there is a good chance for the Dems to win back the Whitehouse.
Free trade vs anti free trade is a bigger "policy" dispute than public option vs Medicare for all. No one is suggesting communism.
Trump is already a socialist. He wants massive bailouts for farmers and increasing military spending.
The DNC has officially become the socialist party. this election will be about the head and soul of the nation. We must never allow socialism to spread. We spent the 20th century fighting the evils of socialism and we must not give up that fight in the homeland.
