The highest real median household income is in the US. And that is thanks to capitalism which is the Scandinavian economic system as well.

Ha! Said as if you were actually bothering to read my posts. If I'm boring you, then stop replying to my posts with your pompous, know-it-all statements.

We see a lot of that lately. Progressives seem inspired by Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi, and Schumer.

Look at where BBC is. Look at where the guardian is, and slate.

    This chart is absurd.

Reminds me of the studies that prove illegal aliens are beneficial for the United States.

There's no supply without labor. The fruits of labor don't belong to those who only sit and watch their wealth grow. It belongs to those who do the hard labor.

If you don't believe this, then tell me why strikes & unions can cause the immediate shut down of any business. Why is it a company's "powerful" CEO/President/Founder can't keep the business going on their own?

The problem is that it takes money to start a business. Hence the rich & well established will have it much easier to start new businesses and/or expand current businesses. Seeking to continue to make as much profit as possible to better compete, they will out-compete & drive out smaller businesses which causes businesses to collapse & jobs to be lost (which can increase poverty, homelessness, and need for more welfare), it creates market monopolization, it diminishes quality of goods/services (ie, cutting corners), it gives the biggest companies greater influence in politics/legislation (ie, they can get tax cuts, deregulation, anti-union bills passed, corporate protections, etc.), it causes further pollution & scarcity of our natural resources, and lowers the general standard of living.

Exactly. Production always precedes consumption. Now you have it.

A single mega-corporation can out-compete & cause thousands of businesses to fail. Hence...a net loss of jobs in the U.S. The need for labor doesn't change however since the demand will remain. So what do the corporations do? They send most of the jobs overseas where labor & resources are cheaper and regulations are virtually nil.

Did you not read the rest of what I wrote? Why do you cherry pick and not understand the context of what I say?

I said..."There's no supply without labor. The fruits of labor don't belong to those who only sit and watch their wealth grow. It belongs to those who do the hard labor."

There wasn't a question about supply vs consumption. The issue is who OWNS that wealth. The labor force should always OWN it because they generate it.

    Two kinds of "wealth":

Monetary wealth is a means of exchange. It is otherwise worthless. But true wealth is the fruits of labor ---- the goods/services created by laborers. Wealth should therefore return to the laborers who made wealth possible for the rich to become rich.

I'm neither. It's called logic/common sense. The people who do the hard work to produce everything we use/need should be the one's who benefit mostly from that hard work.

The problem is what has always existed: People have yet to evolve to a level where they embrace their collective power so that they can cooperate to create an advanced civilization without need for a monetary system or ruling body.

Of course all mainstream news sources have lied. But which one lies more? Which one is more reliable? Fox is lowest of the low-reliability mainstream news channels. Look at it in relative terms.

Besides...you can't take a news channel that airs musicians singing bleeding heart patriotic songs seriously. LOL

As I keep saying, if you count all our taxes the United States has a flat tax system a huge giveaway to the rich and a screw job for everyone else. All because of the GOP and their tax cuts and cutting services for regular people. All they need is 51 votes because of their reconciliation rule while Democrats need 60 votes in the senate for reform. Quite a scam. And they have their propaganda machine to keep you idiots in line. End of story

The rest of what you wrote is meaningless. Nobody owns wealth. Wealth is created by guys like Gates, Jobs, and Wozniak.

You are a communist, no ??

Workers are paid for using their human capital to produce wealth.

    There is that communism again.

That’s ridiculous. The US does not have a flat tax system.

What services are being cut ???

    Democrats passed ObamaCare using reconciliation.

You reveal yourself as an arrogant progressive elitist in your last line. You should be ashamed of yourself. On the other hand, keep the comedy coming. It’s always amusing to listen to the “elite” make fools of themselves.
