Gee, nearly 50% of republicans and 70% of the public then.....want to murder liberty. Darn those republicans; darn. Why can’t they just let 30% of the people “ rule” the nation.

True. It replaces it with tax gouging.

Every other country that has universal healthcare pays less, not more, in taxes then we do in premiums for healthcare. Healthcare that results in longer life expectancy, less obesity and better overal health because of it.

Inclusive means, contained within. I have NEVER HEARD Sanders say he was against capitalism, never. Our economy includes both. We have a Fed, a government controlled central bank that regulates and controls the economic activity in our country . That’s socialism .....the corporate model we support in both large and small business, is capitalism.

Actually we support corporate welfare which another form of socialism.

Corporations are beneficiaries of taxpayer subsidized payrolls which is WELFARE, not capitalism.

We don't have both. We have a capitalist economy with a government involved in social spending.

Then why isn't Sanders happy with the way things are?

Not socialism. They are examples of corruption.

"Taxpayer subsidized payrolls." I guess when you have no argument, making up terms is one way to go about it.

Corporate WELFARE is just a variant of socialism.

Not really. It doesn't matter. What does matter is that government shouldn't provide businesses with money unless it wants to buy something from them.

Well Bernie Sanders and Barrack Hussein Obama identify with Fidel Castro who jailed and murdered multitudes who were opposed to his redistribution schemes. That's close enough to Marx for me. Sanders argues there is some good that's come out of the regime. Barrack goes to a baseball game with Fidel and tries to normalize relations.
Right up your alley....huh dagosa?? 10,000 slaves. Still waiting to hear where you got that number from.

Why are there 27 million uninsured and thousands of engineering and doctor vacancies with no one qualified to fill them. Capitalism isn’t doing its job by itself. Capitalism does a pretty shitty job with police, fire and paying for infrastructure.

Noticed the “ owned” was in quotes. Obviously he never owned that many at any one time, but he was totally dependent on that many (200) at anyone time on his owned plantation , and many more to distribute collect and distribute his product.
He was indebted to thousands and ten thousand may be conservative when , there were thousands more in slaved in Africa that died in transit. For every slave he owned, there were many times that that died or played supporting rolls over his life time. . This is one of the great tragedies of our history. The actual numbers could easily be in the hundreds of thousands (388,000 one estimate ) with many more losing their lives.

To give Jefferson some credit, he wanted to abolish slavery if it was done collectively with all slave owners......but doing it by himself meant he could not compete. So cooperatively, he stayed the course. Does that make him worth living up to ? I doubt it.

All slave owners “owned” this history and the numbers of human suffering and death that resulted.
