It's also unconstitutional - as is federal funding for education, police, and fire.

The only thing the Fedgov is constitutionally authorized to do from the examples you gave is roads - specifically post roads.

Of course you leftists aren't going to let the Constitution get your way.

    My state already has that.
Why do it in federal level?

...is your basis for that argument a strict interpretation of the 10th amendment?

Probably but that isn't the point. The point is that people who don't have young children shouldn't have to pay for the child care of people who do unless they choose to. It is corrupt inequality.

Hopefully it is common sense. The more federal government does, the more inequality he have, the more inflation we get and the more freedom we lose. If you want government to pay for child care, federal government is not the place to do it. Federal government has no competition and no accountability.

Drawing the line of what you are willing to contribute towards at what personally benefits you or where you feel your personal responsibility lies will leave society woefully underfunded.

For example, I see zero benefit or responsibility from the military budget that is currently more than the next 7-10 countries combined. I think it should be closer to half that amount...is it "corrupt inequality" unless I can deduct that percentage from my tax bill?

The results of the welfare state speak for themselves - 50 years of the Federal Government paying low income people to produce fatherless children has been devastating - particularly in the black community.

Whether that result was intentional or not is not something that can't even be discussed with people like you if you can't admit that welfare state has been an abject failure.

That said, I know for a fact that the disastrous results were intentional. It is Soviet style Demoralization 101.

For the left, Rule #1 in taking over any society?? Destroy the family.

according to his campaign, what they are referring when they say "extremely wealthy" are "those who have a net worth of at least $32 million" and the rate would be a "1 percent tax on net worth above $32 million for a married couple. That means a married couple with $32.5 million would pay a wealth tax of just $5,000.The tax rate would increase to 2 percent on net worth from $50 to $250 million, 3 percent from $250 to $500 million, 4 percent from $500 million to $1 billion, 5 percent from $1 to $2.5 billion, 6 percent from $2.5 to $5 billion, 7 percent from $5 to $10 billion, and 8 percent on wealth over $10 billion. These brackets are halved for singles"

Giving parents access to affordable daycare and thereby affording them the freedom to pursue other job or hobby opportunities is objectively a good thing.

The notion that programs designed to help poor communities are "devastating" simply because there are still poor communities (without even a cursory analysis of any other factors) is both illogical and absurd.

Why not tax them filthy rich at 90%? They can afford to pay it?

The programs "designed to help poor communities" are necessary. The programs designed to keep poor people right where they are are "devastating".

Answer this then - why would a government deliberately commit terrorist acts against its own people??

Disincentivizing work leads to poverty and starvation as production is curtailed. The capitalist system understands this and is built upon the opposite principal. But I suppose it is worth it if we can stick it to the wealth producers.

Tell me the example of "intentional terrorist attack on their own citizens" then.

At 1.5 trillion I should think it would be free.

Of course it's vitally important that parents be able to pursue their HOBBIES to a tune of 1.5 TRILLION.

It's not a difficult question. In your opinion...

Why would a government, any government, commit a terrorist act against it's own citizens??
