Another alarmist who ignores the real of the benefits of global warming. Where is ground water disappearing due to warming ??? Where are all the global warming refugees ???

Thank you for admitting the Earth was very different from today. Now please tell me why the Earth isn't changing back to that state and we will all die anyway?

You realize plants (ie: crops) breathe in CO2. They pump CO2 into greenhouse to help the plants flourish. The higher the levels of CO2 in the atmosphere the better crops will grow in the 3rd world farmland helping them prosper.

I guess there probably a few ideologues so hidebound that they deny that cardiologists know more about cardiology that they do.

Seriously, you think every fking country in the world, even those that are mortal enemies, sit down and agree on a Chinese hoax. I wonder how many trump supporters it takes to change a light bulb.

    Seriously ?
They need water for photosynthesis to occur. Droughts and salt water contamination are causing severe problems in farmlands.

Where will the water go? Outer Space? No, it will go into the atmosphere and come back down again in the form of rain.

Geez, I learned that in grade school.

As far as it is known the sun is not going to be getting noticeably hotter for several million years. No resurgence of volcanism is evident and the Earth's orbit appears stable for now.

Maybe you should not use grade school education to understand a worldwide health problem.....sounds like you’d rather depend upon 4 th grade solutions and not listen to real experts. Let’s all wait for elementary schools to be dismissed and use these kids as as NASA experts, and developers of vaccines. Wow.....
Do you know what I learned in and after grade school, maybe like, colleges and universities are generally good and stupidity and ignorance is bad. That’s why I learned. I also learned, the bigger the problem the more important- higher education is.

Sure, you give a simple idea of photosynthesis but fail to include, fresh water sources, the key to photosynthesis, has been disrupted. It doesn’t take place without it. Then, deniers refuse to acknowledge that every university and climate facility and government disagrees with you. And your answer to that is POLITICS....wow, that may work for you, but I was brought up to respect and acknowledge higher learning, better educated people and consensus of them and reject ignorance, naivety and lazy incomplete ideas, like...oh it’s just “common sense”. . But that’s just me. I never heard of anyone getting through college just using, “common sense.” Maybe you have...

You've got Leftists around the world glomming onto this "crisis" as a means for controlling economies and people.

In the US alone, politicized climate science has been keeping skeptics from working in the field, even as meteorologists, and preventing them from speaking on public airwaves. If you think forcing out skeptics is what good science does, you must be a Leftist, authoritarians who only want to control people, and who can't run anything except into the ground. Which reminds me:

Q: What did Leftists use before candles?
    A: Lightbulbs.

The physics of radiative heat transfer say it has to happen to some extent -- just much less than AGW theory claims. Given the tiny effect on IR transmission of adding CO2 to typical tropospheric air, sensitivity could easily be as little as 0.1C per doubling.
More accurately, there is no doubt the planet HAS warmed since the LIA, and also since the 1970s. Whether it has warmed in the last month, the last year, the last five years, etc. is less certain. For example, I see no credible evidence it has warmed since the 2016 El Nino ended.

Guess away while tightly clutching your Junior Climate Warrior badge. Because belonging to the club means you don't have to know anything about the science.

That's evidence of political activism, not AGW. I was talking about sources of empirical evidence that AGW theory is incorrect.
A university is not an entity that is competent to agree or disagree with a scientific hypothesis.

But the net effect could actually be differential cooling due to the interaction of clouds which can reduce incident solar radiation on the earth.

Satellite measurements are the only reliable data set. And we only have ~ 40 years of that.

It is also evidence of literally billions of dollars of government funding. Eisenhower warned about the government takeover of science in the same farewell address in which he warned about the military industrial complex.

Nope. It's probably only a few hundred -- enough to control access to peer review, promotions, etc.

That's theoretically possible I suppose, but I'd have to see some plausible mechanism whereby reducing CO2 could reduce cloud cover. Or are you talking about a second-order effect, where eliminating CO2 would kill all plants; plants would then no longer transpire water into the atmosphere; and the reduced atmospheric water vapor would then mean reduced cloudiness? Which would dominate, the reduced cloud, or the reduced H2O greenhouse effect?
Even satellite temperature measurements can be manipulated and falsified. I'm at the point where I don't trust anything but actual physical events like sea ice extent, frost-free days, etc.

You already have. The longer you live, the more proof you will see that I am right and CAGW hysteria-mongers are wrong.

Ah, where did he warn against science ? The military industrial complex, yes. Science ? That’s wrong. Trump and his lackies are the only administration officials ever to argue against science, that’s like arguing against good health. We should be so lucky if this admin took over science instead of avoiding it.
