As if this isn't a massive issue?

Funny, I sometimes say stuff like that at 1:30 in the morning. Then the sun comes up and I shake my head wondering what the heck I was thinking.

So, somehow you are curious about one thing, but not another equal thing?

Oh, I'm often curious, but the funny thing is, I'm not curious about things to which I've known the answer for a very long time. You seem to be trying to be clever, I wish you'd work a little harder at it.

Well, like everyone, you don't seem to be able to draw a distinction between flat earth and climate change denial.

When in danger or in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout "Propaganda Alert!". Then douse your hair with water to put out the fire.

Because it's so easy to dismiss an argument that way than to engage it point by point. It's also pathetic and makes me wonder why someone who is in the political opinions discussion would behave that way.

Of course, I don't really wonder why, the answer is because you're out-classed and can't engage. Sucks to be a Leftist when it's a competition of minds with a Conservative.

See? You can't do it. They are equivalent.

Now to be fair, there is a difference. Climate change is far more complicated than the shape of the earth, and flat earth doesn't have trillions of dollars in incentives, but the arguments are equivalent.

You need to work on actually creating an argument, because your one-liner posts just aren't worth engaging.

So I'm going to hang up now. Buh bye.

Well, no, you are going to hang up because you cannot distinguish your arguments from flat earthers. My argument is simply all existing science. Just like round earth theory.

There are two ways I try to make a difference and they're connected. At times, I've led a political fight--I was chair and spokesman for a group that opposed locating a two square mile garbage dump in a suburban community. Other times, I used my community standing to talk to local pols. I focus my involvement on local and regional issues where I can make a difference.
Do you understand now? I got involved in a few big political fights, made a bit of a name for myself, found I could get to people because of my name.

So they were going to locate a dump in a suburban community. I assume they would then dump the suburban community's garbage there. But, thanks to you, the dump was canceled, and now the suburban community trucks their garbage to a less affluent and influential, rural community.

    Well, aren't you special?

Of course you're not capable of debating my arguments. I'm sure I've pointed it out several times already.

The topic has died from a lack of climate alarmists to go toe-to-toe with, but you don't have to beat it to death.

Your claims are utterly absurd. See below...

"And it seems that you're fresh out of Freedom Gas, so I'm going to end your torment with this version of my post that you keep quoting (it looks so much better with all the source links you couldn't see before):

Oh, is it triggering you? Democrats have been running serial coup attempts (Russian interference, bogus impeachment) against Trump since before the 2016 election:

The illegal effort to destroy the 2016 Trump campaign by Hillary Clinton campaign’s use of funds to create, disseminate among court media, and then salt among high Obama administration officials, a fabricated, opposition smear dossier failed.

So has the second special prosecutor phase of the coup to abort the Trump presidency failed. There are many elements to what in time likely will become recognized as the greatest scandal in American political history, marking the first occasion in which U.S. government bureaucrats sought to overturn an election and to remove a sitting U.S. president.

If Dems weren't utterly deranged by Trump, they might have managed it by abusing the FBI, FISA courts, and the Deep State in general. Does that sound like a healthy democratic process to you, or an attempt to overturn the election so the results suit Democrats?

Democrats are fighting tooth and nail to keep the Southern border open so the flood of poor illegals from Socialist countries will pour in, replacing American voters with more reliable voters for Democrats. Don't believe me? In a 2015 poll of Hispanics, McLaughlin's voter profile on page 68 showed that 13% of non-citizen respondents admitted they were registered to vote (a violation of state and federal law), which is about what the Old Dominion/George Mason study found: 15% percent of non-citizens admitted they were registered to vote in 2008 and 16% percent of non-citizens admitted they were registered in 2010.

So why are Democrats in favor of such illegal activity unless they're willing to break laws to stay in power? They're used to committing voter fraud, even getting the dead to vote."

Dump the garbage of 2m people in 20 cities there.
Thanks to 800 members of the community who showed up at a meeting we set up in a high school gym. The city council showed up, saw that a lot of people thought the idea was dumb, and came right out on the spot in opposition to the dump.
I know how to organize. My mother was a mayor of a city when I was a kid. I watched and learned.

You Trumpers run on "negative." People get tired of your trip.

So the answer is "yes" they were going to dump the suburban community's garbage there along with the trash from other people.

But the NIMBY types got you to help them avoid doing their share. And now poor people are having suburban community's garbage dumped in their community because they're POOR.

So go ahead, pat yourself on the back one more time.

    Yes.
The garbage is going instead to a desert area 100 miles away where the leachate can be efficiently contained. Taxpayers in every city contribute.
The people won and the guys who stood to make money off the dump lost. The fix was "in," then it wasn't.
