    The OP clearly post the very reason for the shortage of testing kits :) But I suppose in the leftist realm these kits are like Bernie dollars and laying all over the place just waiting to be scooped up!

    It took one month after news of the virus for Trump to declare an emergency, six months for Obama for the virus then. Trump also early declared a China travel ban, over the objections of Biden and other Dems.

    And if they test positive then what? Lock down, extermination and how about the "WHO" they contracted the germ from.. What if some 25 year old swapping fluid with 100's of other unclean at the club, or where ever the cool kids bang it out now passed it to the old person in a Piggly Wiggly ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

    I say watch the people most communicable and strong enough to be mobile longer while infected..

    According to the news, there are at least two confirmed cases in Tennessee. I don't see that on your chart.

    But we need to track it and if someone is postive then yes tell them to self quarantine and follow up.
    I am in a home quarantined as I type and have been for going on 12 days not because I have the the virus but because I have had a severe upper respiratory infection and meet all the other checkboxes age and other medical conditions. It's using common sense. I just called in grocery order to Walmart and went and they loaded in my trunk. Unloaded and washed my hands. Sent a message to my watering hole "miss you guys" and binge watching Hunters.

    Most people if they get won't get very sick if at all. It is primarily older people. We aren't all going to die.

    Kudos to him. May have to pass a temporary law to fine people who violate quarantine orders if they don't have one already.

    I mentioned that you have to "scroll down" to see all the data on the John Hopkins tracker. The screenshot I took was scrolled "up" to the top set of data. ;)

    Scrolling down, Tennessee shows 7 cases. Total U.S. cases now at 959.

    China's number kept increasing for a full 30 days after they announced the shut down...and that was 3+ week after they knew about the virus. So, approx. 7 weeks.

    We just started tested on a large scale yesterday. I'd expect numbers to climb into April before peaking and levelling out.

    Trump doesn't need to declare martial law, but what he does need to do is stop downplaying the severity of the problem.
    People are looking for leadership and guidance.
