Canada isn't socialist even though it has good schools, especially in lower income communities, and a fair amount of upward mobility.

We have the worst upward mobility and any quality of any modern rich country by far. Canada is as socialist as any. Why are we the only modern rich country without a living wage health Care daycare paid parental leave cheap college and training great infrastructure and vacations and mainly tax-the-rich their fair share. Every time you look it up the definition is a society where business and industry is owned or regulated by the community. You should be stamped regulated on your forehead.... It's also supposed to have some democracy involved. So immediately communism and Nazism are out. if you get a masters in history you learn that it has had three stages at the definition. Marxism USSR communism and fair democratic capitalism with a good safety net.
