No, I presented links that supported the facts I had presented.
If you wanted to know any facts (you don't).
    Yes, of course it is.
The links were to support the previously presented facts.
OK, fine. The fact that you are not interested enough to learn any facts does not alter the fact that I presented facts and supported them.
You appear to be laboring under a mistaken impression that I care what you suspect.
I discharged the burden when I gave you the sources that support my statements.
Thank you for agreeing that it is a fact, and that your claim that I did not post any facts is therefore false.

Governments controls the means of production. Why is it so difficult for progressives to correctly describe the Scandinavian countries as a capitalist economy which funds an extensive welfare system as the Scandinavians describe their system ??

There is no modern definition. The Scandinavians object strenuously to being described as being examples of socialism.

We also need to build useful infrastructure. Create more public space. Make sure people have a decent place to live, enough to eat.

as I say every other post we need to tax the rich and giant corporation and invest in America and Americans again in a million ways, plus a living wage health Care daycare paid parental leave great infrastructure and vacations. Like every other Rich modern country. Which they call socialism outside the English-speaking world. The brainwash is strong in the English-speaking world thanks to the GOP propaganda machine and hundreds of years of conservatives in the UK.

You're talking about garden variety bankers, businessmen, and investors.

I'm talking about the Central Bankers - the ones who own the Federal Reserve. The ones who control the money supply and interest rates. The Money Trust.

    They lost money??

I'm not asking it to go away. Feel free to discuss it with anyone you wish for as long as you wish. I just felt it was a wrong focal point, that failed to resolve anything even if won.

You guys sound like straight up central planning communists, lol...

No problem that can't be solved by brilliant ideas carried out by the force of government ;)

Thousands of years of recorded history to learn from and serve as warning, yet you haven't learned a thing, have you??

The history is fully available to you. What are you doubting that supply-side policies weren't used or they didn't work? What's your measure?

The problem with your question is that it ignores the really important fact that the market doesn't really run our healthcare. Nor does the consumer. Nor does the medical doctors or staff. Some petty accounting clerk in some drab office somewhere decides whether or not its financially profitable for them to cover the kind of medical care or medications you need to treat your situation. You may feel more comfortable with that system. I don't. There are bureaucracies in the business world that can compete on an even basis for nastiness & incompetence & inhumanity. Many current healthcare insurance companies have them working hard deciding your medical fate, based on financial concerns, as we speak. Comforting thought, huh?

It does if you have a catastrophic policy with a health savings account and price transparency.

Finland is one of the most capitalistic countries in Scandinavia. Try doing some actual homework instead of repeating that moronic quote.

Typical answer for someone trapped in conservative thinking. If you can succeed economically, everyone can, right? And, if they haven't, then it's because they are either lazy or stupid or both, right? More simplistic answers for complex issues. That's conservatism for you. Conservatives are exhausting. :(

Catastrophic high deductible policies are very affordable. Contributions to health saving accounts roll over and belong to the policy holder. Whole Food employees and public employees in Indiana have and love them. I had one myself and entered Medicare with $30K in my HSA.
