This would be hilarious if it weren't so sad. Biden held his first Illinois Virtual Town Hall. They were having some issues with the phone connections, but the biggest "technical difficulty" was Joe's rambling and wandering off screen. They finally had to shut down the camera.

I don't see how Joe's handlers are going to be able to avoid having voters notice Joe's increasing mental decline.

They are going to try and isolate him to the extent that from here on out as much as possible is strictly pre-recorded stuff. How they will 'protect' Joe if he goes up against Trump is anyone's guess.

Recently an Australian broadcaster finally spoke up and pointed out to her nation that Biden is obviously senile and that there is no way in Hades that even the USA's media outlets can continue pretending for much longer that there is nothing wrong with Biden's brain.

They were supposed to start at 4pm, but they delayed until 6pm...then the entire town hall lasted less than 5 minutes. Normally if you're incompetent you surround yourself with people who have strengths to make up for your weaknesses. Biden can't hire a campaign team which can run a virtual town hall livestream?

This is the man who will save the country from Coronavirus by suggesting a plan which the current administration is already implementing.

You are either intentionally lying or you did not watch the entire 4:28 minute video which you posted. Joe was never, "rambling and wandering," at all. And there is no indication that he ever wandered, "off screen." And since this Town Hall had become a teleconference, even if Joe had wandered off screen it would have been irrelevant. Joe remained intelligently and actively engaged with the callers throughout this 4:28 minute Town Hall excerpt. Even while the camera periodically showed a logo screen Joe was fully, and relevantly, involved. The only dead air was near the beginning when caller #2 (Maureen Jenkins) did not respond when the moderator prompted her to join in.

I urge EVERYONE to watch this video from beginning to end. Joe always remains perfectly responsive and on point. Though, in the fist call, he is a bit anxious about improving Health Care ASAP starting in January, instead of beginning now or in November (as we all would prefer). The second caller, Maureen Jenkins, never joins the call after being un-muted (that was the only dead air in the video). So the moderator goes on to caller 3, Marie Perkins, who discusses Endangered Species with Joe. Joe's answers are all clearly lucid and on task. So too with the fourth caller. This was clearly an active conference from beginning to end except for the second caller's dead air.

If Joe Biden is suffering mental decline, this video sure doesn't prove anything of the kind. But the post and accompanying commentary on this forum do prove that the Trump following is already resorting to cheap and dishonest attempts at tipping the scales in favor of a cheap and dishonest player. And this may be their ONLY defense. Their player is indeed one whose following really is declining.

Yep; it's not any sort of mental instability until Rachel Maddow of MSNBC says that it's senility or dementia. Our political left does have a unique verification standard.

I've seen the video and saw his mock "press conference" a few days ago-where he also has technical difficulties.

He seems to wander between subjects and he appears to lack focus.

I've noticed that Biden is not seen speaking much longer than 20 minutes.

I did watch the entire video and I'm not an intentional liar, as you allege. I'll just assume that you plan to vote for Joe, and that was you're best attempt to influence me to change my mind. You sure know how to win friends and influence enemies. :)

Hahaha! He said it's not political, then made it political. Way to unite the country, Joe! Most of his "plan" is essentially what Trump and our CDC are already implementing. I think his campaign team wrote most of the script directly from the CDC website and Trump's Task Force Team's daily press conferences. He has been known to plagiarize stump speeches in his past runs for president. He did add global "open borders" as part of the solution, which is not going to happen as long as Trump is in charge.

Meh. Trump addressed and solved most of Biden's "solutions" between yesterday and today. We probably won't even be talking about the virus by August or September. It will likely have peaked and flattened out by then.

Taking questions from the press, rather than reading the well-rehearsed speech off a teleprompter and then running away, would have been interesting.

The voters dont care. But neithet do they understand what the DP is today. It looks like being disconnected from reality. An affliction where common people vote to cut their own throats economically.

O BS! And I'm neither trying to win friends nor influence enemies on this forum. Doing that every day in real life. Only hanging here until international travel resumes... *yawn*... Meanwhile just voicing facts here and seeing what flavor critters respond. Novel concept for you, FACTS, eh?

So you really prefer an: obnoxious, lying, massively obese, orange, self-indulgent, financially-inadequate, wife-cheating, loser for your rabbi over a nice, slender, kind-hearted, gentle, statesmanly, accomplished fellow? Like, truly Gross! And you suggest I have issues? Hahaha! :)

I agreed with that a few weeks ago (the wandering off topic). But since his Big Win last week Joe suddenly seems lucid. Maybe Coronavirus agrees with him? LOL!!?

Anyway, in teleconferences, as this Town Hall unfortunately morphed into due to technical difficulties, NO ONE is, "seen speaking," at all.

None of this "Uncle Joe" stuff will stick.

Anybody who would even (remotely) care had no intention of voting for Joe anyway.

    As Everybody (already) KNOWS:

The Breitbart Echo Chamber posting 20 "Biden Gaffe" Threads a day, won't change one vote.

Count on Biden being Sworn in as the POTUS on 1/20/21.

I'm voting for national sovereignty over open borders and for small government versus massive government expansion.

I have no quarrel with you. Vote your conscience.

Cool. I feel the same way about the borders but have mixed feelings about federal fingers-in-the-pie. I like it when the government helps enforce the stuff important to me (cleaner environment, endangered species and fair-trade protection, etc.), but not-so-much when it supports stuff I disdain. What really ticks me off is rampant BS. And, quite frankly, pushing the notion that Biden is befuddled now that he is seemingly lucid, is a loser. Especially if he shines well in one-on-ones in the upcoming debates. Now, if he looks befuddled in those, well, you'll have valid ammunition with which to carry on.

The debate this evening will be interesting. Bernie announced what questions Biden needs to answer to satisfy the Bernie supporters enough to make them comfortable voting for Biden. He essentially gave Biden the answers to the test far enough in advance for Biden to script and rehearse replies. Still, he won't have a teleprompter. We'll see how he does.

Biden is showing signs of dementia. That's not fabricated. I watched my grandmother, all four of her sisters, and my father deteriorate from Alzheimer's. My great-grandmother even declined with it, but without a name, we called it "senility". It's a cruel disease. Victims have good days and bad days, and then good moments within mostly bad days, then finally they don't know where they are or who you are. Biden is still having mostly good days with some very bad moments. That isn't sustainably for four years.

With 330 million people in the country, you'd think we could raise up two candidates to lead the country who aren't scary or pathetic for one side or the other.

I'm sorry you went through that with your loved ones. That must've been really painful watching them deteriorate like that. What a heart-break! Mine were fortunately spared that.

Anyway, I get what you're saying even though the shared link doesn't show any of it. So, yeah, we'll see how it goes with the debate(s). It may be an ad hoc disaster for Biden or he may come off of it revitalized (as I think he was in your link). Either way, you're right about, "scary or pathetic," or vile ~ and no one on either side under 70 years old! :)

I think it sounds kinda like what Matt Drudge said to Alex Jones
when he paid Jones a sneak visit at his New Broadcasting studio.
Drudge is famous for being a hermit.Very seldom seen out and about.
Drudge startled Jones when from out of nowhere he appeared back stage
of Jones Studio behind some curtains.
Drudge came out sat down and had a conversation to the very bowled-over
Jones.Being a huge fan of Drudge.
I'll never forget how the discussion turned morbid.Drudge almost insisiting
that somehow { this was Pre-2016 } Hillary would make President.
Even if they had to keep her alive { just her head in a jar }.
She would be President.Just a head in a jar atop that Oval Office desk.
Like the el cheapo horror flick :
    - The Brain that Wouldn't Die - { 1962 }
