Hmmm, in looking at the electoral map Democratic voters mostly live in the crowded metropolitan areas, whereas the mostly Republican voters live in the wide open spaces of flyover country. If social distancing is really beneficial, I'll take my chances here in Idaho.

 

you need to learn reality, I have had relatives die without any autopsy, you seem to think the government checks everyone.. get real

they may be going forward as we are looking now, but they were not in December and January as there were no tests for the living, let alone the deceased

not every living\deceased person has been tested, that is just the reality of it

 

not all were tested, especially those in Dec and Jan

 

Was there no death certificate? Was there no cause of death listed? Even if death was from natural causes an immediate and underlying cause of death would be listed on the death certificate.

 

Cause of death doesn’t mean getting tested. A pathologist doesn’t need testing. A pathologist can confirm COVID19 from just observation.

 

of course they may not even see a pathologist, they may just die at home, thinking it's the common flu, the family says they had a flu, they were elderly, they died, pretty much all they need unless they suspect foul play

 

I don't know if more Republicans or Democrats will end up dying, but here are issues that would affect the equation in different directions:

1- More Republicans follow outlets such as FOX that basically preach "all is well, go about your business as usual". That means that it is possible that more Republicans will catch the virus (going out in the public more often) and, even more alarming, that more Republicans are likely to infect others with the virus too.

2- Younger people are less prone to developing seriously illness from the virus than others. Younger people are proportionally a greater percentage among Democrats than Republicans, while the elderly (who are at higher risk) are more likely to be Republicans. That suggest more Republicans will end up catching the virus, but there is another factor at work: young people are a lot more active socially, a lot more likely to ignore public health guidance, and in that sense, more likely to be catching and spreading the virus than some older person who is typically sitting at home anyway.

3- The virus has a greater chance of spreading in more densely populated demographics than sparsely populated ones. That will certainly put more Democrats at risk than Republicans.

 

So the family doesn’t phone a state agency and just buries grandma in the backyard? The state coroner passes off all phoned in deaths as natural causes? Every funeral home, mortuary and crematorium have state requirements to report activities of burying the dead. Hell, in most cemeteries the family is given a deed of ownership for the plot purchased.

I’m not talking about a friggin autopsy. I’m speaking of a physician signed death certificate. And “no foul play” is not the only criteria for an autopsy. The supervising physician on staff must agree to cause of death. Yet this entire debate started about a death with no knowledge of Coronavirus. I will guarantee that any pathologist will determine cause of death of said subject even with no autopsy.

 

yep, and as I said, not everyone that died in December or January got a Corona virus test

 

And how does the physician determine cause of death if there is no testing? Grandma was old with a lot of co-morbidities and was not long for this earth so physician may well assume that “she got the call from God” Unless the rest of the family show signs of infection

Unless we are testing the patient how do we know that the homeless patient in ICU has aspiration pneumonia or Covid?

 

So your answer to the problem is testing dead people?

Are you saying the virus will kill everyone in 12 years? I guess for lefties it is a matter of this virus or climate change.....
