Question for all those over 60, would you?



Now... of course we now know that, even though most deaths happen among the elderly, So the follow up question is: should everybody be willing to give up their life, and that of their children, to reactivate the U.S. Economy?

Trump has even started to introduce the word "suicide" in the minds of people. How far will this administration be willing to go?

 

At a point the measures to fight the virus do more damage then the virus. You might not die from the virus but the crime, riots, and all the criminals Democrats let out of jails will.

 

The true believers should follow their leader. He wants the churches packed on Easter. So pack the churches. Kiss and hug one another. Spend lots of quality time together. Show everyone that TDS is real.

As far as Dan Patrick, I believe I heard him say to keep the elderly isolated but let the younger people not in the danger categories more freedom. Isolation isn't a problem for most Lefties, so many are perfectly fine living in their mommies basement all they need are the basic requirements of junk food and an x-box. Most other Lefties in some way receive a salary from tax dollars and won't see a drop in pay. All they really care about is tanking the economy so that they can blame Trump. They knew they really had to pull out all the stops when Biden is the best the DNC can come up with to run against Trump and the perfect storm of dead American's and a dead economy is the end that justifies the means.

It is not a matter of giving up one's life for the good of the economy. It is a matter of a very slight increase in the risk of losing your life for the good of the economy. For that matter, driving to work is a prime example of slightly increasing the risk of losing one's life for the good of their finances. In that sense, life is a nonstop series of calculated risks.

What’s is happening right now is equivalent of treating an in grown nail with leg amputation.
Some cancer patients refuse treatment because the treatment is worse than the cancer.
From country’s overall well being - we are better off just moving on.
Humans can’t stop HIV, which requires a very up close and personal contact. This fight is ongoing for like 50 years now. What makes you think that we can stop or slowdown a virus that can be transmitted via surfaces and air droplets?
Since even the toughest methods possible will not fully stop the virus then one can come to a conclusion that, eventually, everyone will have this virus. If that’s the case - then why destroy millions of jobs over something that we can’t really control?

People with illness can choose to refuse treatment, decrease survival chances and even die. The Government can not do that for them.

I think you have completely misunderstood the words of a very frustrated Governor Cuomo who is facing the epicenter of the Coronavirus pandemic right in New York City.

He was advised by medical experts that New York will need 30,000 ventilators and was told by FEMA that he could have 400. Thus, the point that 26,000 that would die without them was made by Cuomo in his statement;

'You pick the 26,000 people who are going to die’

Do you see now how you've taken this out of context and made it a political weapon to use against the left? Your partisanship is not needed nor wanted at this time of crisis in our nation.
