It's interesting isn't it, how all of these things were never thought of before. The problem with American citizens getting stuck overseas during a pandemic, with no way to get home for a time. You'd think a simple thing like that would have been anticipated by agencies like the CDC, whose job it is to be prepared for something like this.

Real mature way to defend your rant, unsupported by facts. He addressed your every (non) point and this is the best you can muster? Sad

    When someone begins a comment with;

"The"free press" you are referring to became sniveling, drooling, Obama worshipping tabloid gibberish and still is."

I completely toss the rest of their childish rant into the trash heap, there is no significance or purpose to reading the rest of it. Done.

Is he allowed to adjourn Congress under current circumstances?

Then why didn't you just say that? You were being justly criticized for substituting a childish gif, instead of a grown up dialogue.

    Right back at ya.
Isn't the President the one who wants to remove the country from lockdown ASAP?

Why do you care? Get over it, that's life. As I have stated, when a comment begins with a childish, name-calling rant, I totally tune out and never read the rest.

As though your OP is any better, at least his comment is true. Some cant handle that others have opinions that differ from theirs.

Now I'll give you this, Trump calls them out, verbally but that's it.

Obama was fairly quiet, as he went after them, behind the scenes.

Hmm... this is about the 30th some odd time I've seen these same basic talking points since Trump was elected.

    Get some new talking points.

I thought Humble Pi would find this interesting but she has no comment. Obama actually went after the press, while Trump just talks.

Except the aren't facts they're self serving ejecta produced by talking heads whose own authoritarian bent has been obvious for years to anyone bothering to pay attention.

I’ve seen no evidence that you all do. Barr never wrote a book report just a brief memo why he worked with mueller to get the proper redactions made so it could be made public

Actually the list of earmarks is pretty good. But your conclusion is totally wrong. Trump might be guilty of #9 but only if it is modified to read 'fostering notions to inflate the person' which of course would make it an earmark of authoritarianism, republicanism, and democracy.
    10. Trump is losing personal money being president. If he were president for the personal monetary gain you would think he would at least keep his salary.
    8. There is no evidence of ruling by fear whatsoever. That is strictly in Trump haters' reverie.
    7. There is no evidence of racism whatsoever. That is strictly in Trump haters' reverie.
    6. Trump has dismantled exactly no alliances with democratic governments .
    5. Trump has formed exactly no alliances with authoritarian regimes.
    4. There is no evidence of his using the military for personal political reasons whatsoever. That is strictly in Trump haters' reverie.
    3. Trump has not undermined in the least any other branch of government... period. He has shown limited disregard for Congress but only when congress turns rogue and does non-congressional stuff.
    2. Trump has done no such thing. He cooperated more than any other with the Mueller investigation despite his knowing it was a persecution hoax with no foundation and designed to overthrow his presidency.
    1. Trump has lambasted the Democrat propaganda arm who are only masquerading as a free press. He has shown neither contempt nor fear of any truly free press.
