    Wearing a mask does not protect you from being infected by a virus. Just get sick and get over it.

    Yes, you do place yourself above the law, because you reserve your right to pick and choose laws that apply to you with respect to how you interpret the Constitution.

    Like I wrote above, I don't place myself above the law; it's the law that keeps sinking. I haven't changed. I am like the straight line in the dollar sign, the law is like the curved line. Sometimes I'm on one side of the curvy legal line; sometimes I'm on the other.

    The law curves and snakes it's way through history like a winding river.
    My moral compass doesn't work that way.

    The Supreme Court interprets the Law, and that is why it is so important to have Justices that follow the original intent of the Constitutin.. many of these covid laws don't follow the Constitution.

    How do you know, since the SC hasn't ruled on any of them?

    BTW:. This is about the OP, who thinks he only has to obey laws that he likes.

    Curious what chemical plant allows you to work in it with a beard. Having worked in petrochem for about a quarter century I've never been to a site that allowed beards. Admittedly mostly my experience is refineries and you certainly aren't working in a refinery with a beard.

    Why the chem plant reference then? Pretty sure the procedures when the sirens go off are generally to proceed to muster points rather than to get under the desk.
