I live in huge apartment complex. People only stay here on average for one year. The amount of unforwarded mail that piles up is astounding. I still get lots of mail for the four prior occupants of my apartment.

But I'm sure the ballots won't get lost or misplaced.

“Election fraud committed with absentee ballots is more prevalent than in person voting but it is still rare,Richard L. Hasen, a professor of law and political science at the University of California, Irvine School of Law, and author of “The Voting Wars,” told us via email. “States can and do take steps to minimize the risks, especially given the great benefits of convenience — and now safety — from the practice.”

In an op-ed published in the Washington Post, Hasen cited a database created by News21, a national investigative reporting project that tracks cases of election fraud. News21 found absentee-ballot ballot fraud was the most prevalent type of election fraud, comprising about 24% of reported prosecutions between 2000 and 2012.

“But the total number of cases was just 491 — during a period in which literally billions of votes were cast,” Hasen wrote. “While certain pockets of the country have seen their share of absentee-ballot scandals, problems are extremely rare in the five states that rely primarily on vote-by-mail, including the heavily Republican state of Utah.”

    https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/494189-lets-put-the-vote-by-mail-fraud-myth-to-rest

Vote fraud in the United States is exceedingly rare, with mailed ballots and otherwise. Over the past 20 years, about 250 million votes have been cast by a mail ballot nationally. The Heritage Foundation maintains an online database of election fraud cases in the United States and reports that there have been just over 1,200 cases of vote fraud of all forms, resulting in 1,100 criminal convictions, over the past 20 years. Of these, 204 involved the fraudulent use of absentee ballots; 143 resulted in criminal convictions.

Let’s put that data in perspective.

One hundred forty-three cases of fraud using mailed ballots over the course of 20 years comes out to seven to eight cases per year, nationally. It also means that across the 50 states, there has been an average of three cases per state over the 20-year span. That is just one case per state every six or seven years. We are talking about an occurrence that translates to about 0.00006 percent of total votes cast.

You are trying to justify something that is susceptible to manipulation and fraud on a grand scalewhen there are safer means available. Your argument is that the amount of tampering in any election is so small that it's harmless. Suppose I broke into your house how much of your valuables would be acceptable to take? It's exactly the same thing, even if your argument had some merit it's still wrong. You people argue about wanting every vote to count but that some fraud is OK. You can't have it both ways. No matter how much you want this it ain't gonna happen it has too much potential to screw up the election and tie it up for months, even years while Trump remains in the White House. So if there's any hint of shenanigans the election would be challenged and subject a long fight. Be careful what you wish for

False comparison because stealing stuff is profitable. There is no profit in voter fraud.

The following studies prove conclusively that voter fraud, as defined by 1. Someone impersonating someone else, 2. Someone not a citizen voting illegally, 3, someone voting twice or more, is NOT occurring on a significant scale that would affect the outcome of a national election.

You'll find instances of the above, examples, etc., but you will not find it on a significant scale. Studies prove this, over and over and over again.

There is no real profit for voter fraud. People who steal things, cheat, etc, are motivated by immediate profit.

    Stealing cars is immediately profitable.

Cheating at vote is NOT IMMEDIATELY profitable, and most criminals are motivated by profit. Illegal aliens are NOT doing this on a large scale, because it can lead to their deportation. They have NO incentive to do it. You might find a few, but not many.

There is a long range benefit if a candidate can MANIPULATE the vote, however.

The legal way is via persuasion. That is the right way to do it. Campaign, go on TV, etc., that is the right way to do it. Cheating is the wrong way.

Dem DO NOT need to cheat on the vote, because a large voter turnout benefits them. All dems have to do is get out the vote, and that's a healthy and very legal thing. Dems are NOT recruiting illegals to vote. okay, if you find some operative someone that did it a tiny bit, fine, you got me, but I'm talking about it happening on a scale that can affect the outcome of a national election.

However, Repubs tend to lose when there is a large voter turnout.

That is why Republicans engage in voter suppression, and Dems to not ( well, Hillary did in the primary, but I"m talking about the Dems vs Repub race in the general. ).

Proof of Republicans engaging in a MASSIVE voter suppression campaign i given in this film:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/B07P76KK1S/ref=atv_dl_rdr?autoplay=1

I detail the contents of that film in this OP here
    http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/voter-fraud-is-a-myth.573072/

Now then, someone argues, but "Hillary cheated on Bernie".

She did some bad ****, and she is an anomoly. I sincerely doubt Perez is going to do anything like what Wasserman and Hillary did ( he'd better not, or he will have hell to pay ).

There is another type of motivation which does not result in voter fraud, it results in MASSIVE voter manipulation by:

    1. purging minorities
    2. suppressing the vote.

the beneficiary of purging minorities and suppressing the vote are republicans. Watch the above film, for proof.

Yes, dems DABBLED in purges, DABBLED in gerrymandering ( maybe a couple of districts, what, in Maryland or somewhere on the east coast, I think? )
Compared to what what Republicans did, the scope of it, what dems and when I say dems, I mean mostlly Hillary, what she did and what dems have done, if you can find it, pales compared to what repubs are doing and did in the 2016 election.

    Watch the above film, please.

There are no massive attempts at voter fraud other than the GOP voter suppression efforts.

Yes, and a number of red states refused, as well. Wanna know why? You'd think they would jump at the chance

So, did you forget the part of why they refused to cooperate with Kobach?

    https://www.cnn.com/2017/07/03/poli...voter-fraud-commission-information/index.html

Kobach wanted all the private information, SS#s etc, and most states have their own voter privacy laws. But there was another reason:

Kobach has serious integrity issues with 'voter suppression' and voter purges. He is the founder of "Interstate Crosscheck" because it was disproportionately purging minorities due to an intentional flaw in it's design. IC purged over one million names from the voter registration rolls in 2016. In the swing states, the purged count exceeded the Trump's win numbers by some ten fold, or thereabouts. In fact, you can toss out the Russian meddling, you can toss out gerrymandering, and everything else dems are complaining about, BUT FOR interstate crosscheck, hell, Hillary would have won, because the purged count in the swing states vastly exceed Trump's 77,000 vote narrow margin of victory.

The full story on interstate crosscheck and billionaire ballot bandits is here
    https://www.amazon.com/Best-Democracy-Money-Can-Buy/dp/B01LX4CG3Q

IC was sued by the ACLU and they got it suspended

More astonishing and unsustainable denial of MASSIVE & pervasive Democrat election/voter fraud.

The only story told by this thread?

That rank/file Democrats are actively choosing to ignore reality, and instead remain in a state of surreal denial regarding the extreme criminality of their party.

Your only evidence provided was that of a local dem operative purging voters on behalf of hillary.

I've provided a MOUNTAIN of evidence against repubs, VASTLY worse that that Hillary episode, who is a pariah amongst progressives.

You talk a lot of talk, but you don't walk the walk.

Hits are NOT articles. In fact, it's just google weirdness.
I googled my name, and you think I have 19,700,000 "articles" on myself? Are you that unknowledgeable?
You obviously have zero credibility, and I just exposed it.

    Ooo - somebody's gaslighting. :)

Though I'm not sure it counts as gaslighting when the subjects chose to be lit by the bizarre/false DPN (Democrat Purity Narrative), and are planning to stay that way.

    "Projectionism?" :roflol: Complete nonsense.

And I notice that you continue to ignore the MOUNTAINS of evidence presented here concerning MASSIVE/pervasive Democrat fraud, and still haven't read any of the three MILLION Google articles on the subject.

And your desperate goalpost shift to OrangeManBad as a diversionary tactic?

I'm honestly surprised that didn't happen sooner.

The problem with all this ridiculous "Democrat pure!!!" propagandizing is that you're not convincing anyone (who isn't already gaslit by the bizarre DPN) that the reality of MASSIVE and pervasive Democrat fraud isn't real.

Your energy would, IMHO, be better spent educating yourself on the ACTUAL problem of pervasive fraud by both parties, and the inherent multi-level corruption of the entire system.

    :)

That's the ticket - don't even THINK about learning anything about MASSIVE and pervasive Democrat fraud!

Why, it's all just a conspiracy theory, or "Google weirdness!"

    :roflol:

And that includes the MOUNTAINS of evidence posted on THIS thread about MASSIVE/pervasive Democrat fraud.

Mountains of evidence that you refuse to address.

And I just Googled the Sun.

    Over three BILLION hits!

I guess that means the Sun REALLY doesn't exist - just "Google weirdness!"

    o_O

I mean, are people REALLY so ignorant as to believe there's some giant star at the center of the Solar System???

    :roflol:

Somebody has zero credibility for sures.
