Obama and the liberal media fanned the race flames for 8 years. Polls show race relations were much worse after Obama.

Some people don't like Trump's color blind approach to racial issues. He doesn't bow down to minorities and treat them like inept children. That's not politically correct.

 

Liberal politicians have allowed the animals to run wild. The American people have seen for several evenings this week what liberal Democratic leadership looks like. It's a complete failure.

 

Partisan politics have nothing to do with this - either side. The protests were a response to an event which has repeated itself over and over again - under both Rep and Dem politicians. Nothing has been done. The riots have nothing to do with the protests, which were held during the day and maintained peace and order. So to blame Trump or Obama or any other politician for the destruction that has taken place over the last few nights is politically opportunistic and badly misplaced.

Now just Stop that right now. Cops are just human beings like anyone else. They're not superheroes, they want to go home at night and see their kids, not be shot by some arsewipe who's got his little handful of death.

And yes I know that no firearms were involved here. I still think the problem is too many guns. Police have no idea of who is armed and how heavily. It makes the cops fearful and nervous and this makes them react with violence and brutality under any circumstance. How did this guy know WHAT the guy had? Better to just kneel on his neck and ignore anything he's saying.

Mind, that doesn't excuse this one little bit but it is a reason for these terrible tragedies

And yet one more why we should finally say ENOUGH and come up with some SANE gun regulations. Something at least comparable to the world's other civilized nations. What is WRONG with us?

All because of ONE COP (and over $20).

Just let that sink in.

Maybe the Party store owner should have just taken the loss?

I wonder if the store owner would have done anything differently if he knew how this would end?

Why would anybody Trust a Cop to make an arrest (over an alleged $20 Theft) without killing somebody?

Bad judgement on the part of the merchant.

He had to know that any attempt to involve the cops had a high likelihood of ending in the suspect's death.

The merchant should have immediately told Floyd the note was bad, given it back to him and told him to wait while he called the police so they could try to trace the bill. Failing that, he should have told Floyd to take it to the police himself

As you know, the Secret Service handles counterfeiting. Maybe they should have called them. They are MUCH better trained and professional than any police I know of.

The roots of the U.S. destruction started when the first slave set his/her foot on this countries soil. Sure Lincoln freed the slaves, only as the final nail in the Confederates coffin, but then there was NO plan to either integrate them into society or send them back to their home countries. So 155+ years later here we are. NO fix that I can see.

Yeah, the thousands of rioters and looters using his death as an excuse have nothing at all to do with it.

 

Red states have military bases, national parks, NASA, etc. So of course a lot of money goes to red states.

For decades, my relatives in the Northeast have been able to lessen the amount of federal income tax they pay because they have a state income tax. I haven't been able to do that. I have no state income tax. I pay the full share of my federal taxes.

But the important point is that the blue states have been irresponsible with their budgets. They tax too much and spend way too much. Their debt is not my fault. I should not pay for their horrible choices.
