QUESTION: Has ANY Democratic politician condemned the rioting happening around the country?

Think the question asked by the topic title has been effectively answered in the negative. Though, hopefully we can all agree that cops that misuse their authority and Antifa and other violent extremists need to be brought to justice.

Laws against rioting and terrorism must be enforced against Antifa and other violent extremists..

Antifa is a loosely-knit, interstate movement whose objective is to wage a terrorist war against the United States, using violence against the government and our civilian infrastructure.

The radical groups involved in the rioting are pursuing a specific, violent agenda. This an ongoing campaign to coerce acceptance by the country of these groups’ counter-constitutional totalitarianism. Barr vowed that the Justice Department will take enforcement action across the nation.

The attorney general also pointed out in his statement that it is a federal crime to cross state lines or use interstate facilities in order to incite or participate in rioting. Indeed it is, and this also raises the specter of federal racketeering laws.

The racketeering enterprise must affect interstate commerce through a pattern of criminal activity. This would enable the Justice Department to investigate outfits like Antifa, which are organized around a nihilistic vision and which dispatch members throughout the country to commit mayhem, seriously injuring Americans and destroying property.

The Justice Department and the FBI, including the bureau’s Joint Terrorism Task Forces (partnerships with police authorities in major cities throughout the country), are highly experienced and adept in this area, and they have the resources to get the job done.

 

These violent thugs would love us to fight them om the street, how much better to confront them in court than on the street.

The job needs doing. The ravaging of our major cities right now is a violation of the rights of peace-loving Americans, both those who are legitimately exercising their First Amendment rights to protest, and those who are going about their lives expecting the governmental protection to which the Constitution entitles them.

For society to flourish, the rule of law must assert itself. Justice must be done, which means bringing anti-American domestic terrorists to heel. Rioters can and will do immense damage if, as some foolishly suggest, we wait for them to exhaust themselves.

The failure to confront radicals only increases their energy and appetite to do harm. Order does not happen spontaneously. It takes a commitment to enforce the laws.

So I've clearly stated that I don't see the racism as a political/partisan issue, yet you ask me a partisan question? What I will say is that anyone who is confusing the protesters and the rioters are part of the problem. And the more people focus on the riots, the less good the protests will do.

I think so, yes; but then they 'fix it' by implying that it is perfectly understandable why these traditional Democratic Party voters feel that they have to periodically riot and loot and commit arson even though in every instance that they are motivated to do these things -- in EVERY instance -- the justice system is already moving forward to conduct an investigation.

 

Yes; and vast numbers do so. Usually though they also wait to see if the fellow is guilty, unlike the political Left which simply judges the issue on skin tone. If the fellow deliberately commited murder rather than was simply stupid and incompetent then he deserves to hang for this offense. Feel better now?

One might ask if this is just the next attack on America in the chain of events that have been dictating democratic actions for a long time, most openly since the 2016 election. Would they promote this kind of violence to disrupt the country and somehow create an opportunity to grab power? 50 years ago, that would have been an outrageous and insulting question- today, I would not rule that out; I would have strong suspicions it could be fact- because moral guidance has long been discarded by the left. Anything is possible, there is no self-regulation there anymore.

 

But that is not the justice they want, they want mob justice, forget a trial just haul the cops out to the nearest tree and hang them.
