Thoughts on Minneapolis and the riots

I've long been of the opinion that the Republican Party, and the ideology it represents, holds nothing of value for the average man. That there is nothing positive that can said about either and both are a stain on the history and character of the United States.

This can be seen in that, at least since the time of Reagan, that the primary political position of the Republicans has been to trash talk Democrats in the hopes that the Democrats are seen in enough of a bad light that independents will not vote for them. That is essentially how Trump won the 2016 election, trash talking Hillary until not enough people wanted to vote for her. That is the exact same strategy that Trump and the Republicans are going for this year, trash talk Biden enough in the hopes that not enough independents will vote for him.

I'm sure, at some level, you are a really nice guy, but when you post the hate filled derogatory silliness that you seem to regularly post it makes you sound as ugly as your avatar.

I'm quite certain that there are no liberals that are looting, or as stupid and lazy as your f&$#@ed up ideology requires.

I have chosen to live in liberal oases because liberals have made liberal dominated places much nicer places to live than your average conservative mud hole. Trailer parks are far more common in red states than blue ones. Trailer trash is a conservative lifestyle. Blue states tend to have greater economic activity and and thus end up subsidizing red states, who tend to be poorer.


I've been watching the protests and riots progress over the past few days in Minneapolis, Denver, Chicago, San Francisco, and LA. During the day, the protestors are peaceful and the crowds are largely white. Most of the White protestors who were arrested were arrested for doing things like throwing projectiles at the police. Or refusing to move when told to do so.

However, as those peaceful protests came to an end the crowds began to disperse, a second wave of protestors came pouring in. They didn't seem to care about George Floyd and seemed more concerned with destruction and looting. Thus second group was almost exclusively Black. With swarms of twenty and thirty looters rushing into stores as vandals broke windows and pulled away barricades. Most of the Blacks that have been being arrested have been being arrested for looting. It was worse in Chicago and LA.

I know that you have been led to believe that liberals are indoctrinated, but liberalism is pretty much a phenomenon of Northern Europe and descendants of Northern Europeans. Even though Blacks màke up an important voting block for the Democrats, few are truly liberal.

LBJ was 6'4" without wearing shoes with 2 inch heels like Trump does. If the two would have sparred, Trump would have been exposed for the less than manly man he pretends to be.

We all know why there was a mass exodus from the Democratic Party to the Republîcan Party from the end of Johnson's presidency to the presidency of Reagan. As nothing happens in a vacuum, the appeal to Evangelicals has caused liberals and the intelligencia to flee the Republican Party.

 

I know violence has become all the rage for Liberals in the wake of George Floyd's death(which is about as senseless and tragic as Floyd's death) but this isn't about a hypothetical LBJ/Trump boxing match, this is about LBJ's known political record of failure, he was so bad he wasn't re-elected.

 

I wish you could take a step back, and see how stupid this is.

Just so you know, in the alt right lexicon, I am what is known as a "natural". I am one of those that your ideology was designed to emulate. I first became aware of your ideology when guys kept coming up to my girlfriends with the same lame come ons. Like they were all going to a class to learn to do the same thing.

One woman who I particularly liked was really cool in that regard. She was really hot looking, had even appeared in a couple of Victoria's Secret catalogs. And extremely friendly. At a party she was like the perfect hostess. Yet her friendliness led many a man to deluded himself into thinking there was more to it. Some she let down easy, but with others, she could be the cruelest bi$#@ you'd ever want to meet. There was one fellow who was rather persistent. Apparently he had wealth that I didn't, and couldn't figure out why she would hang out with a "bum like him", as he refered to me, and not desire a life with him and the luxury he could afford for her to live in. At one point, with some frustration in his voice, with a crowd about, he blurted out, "What can he give you that I cannot"? Without missing a beat, she looked him square in the eye and said, "an orgasm". Laughing could be heard in the crowd.

 

I wish you could step back and see how stupid and inept Trump is.

 

Is it a childish diatribe because that is one of those cool terms right wing commentators keep using and you really have no counter argument? So you just throw it out there because it sounds good? Kind of a truth hurts moment for you? Have to lash out.

Trump likes to claim that he has done more than any other president. Yet compared to LBJ, Trump has done diddly squat. LBJ was a member of the House of Representatives, the Speaker of the House, a Senator, the Vice President and President. By going into the pits of the House and Senate and using abundant oratory skills and power of persuasion he was able to pass legislation that has fundamentally transformed the country, which the Republicans have been spending last 50 years trying to undo, with little success.

Trump can't even man up enough to lead the country through this pandemic. Does it make you proud that more people have been infected and died from Covid 19 in the US than any other country? That is Trump's leadership for you

Kind of funny I have heard plenty of conservatives threaten violence against me over the years. Usually involving guns. Sometimes it gets real funny. Like a conservative will be going on about how weak and unmanly liberals are, and then turn around and cling to their gun to feel safe from those pretended weak and unmanly liberals.

Bring up the subject of the anti fascists and watch the posts of harm conservatives would do to them if they came to their town. Lots of bravado. Except the anti fascists were never the problem. The problem was violent right wing gangs and all the violence stopped once the police began attesting the members of violent right wing gangs and charging them with felonies. Yet the right wing world prefers to hide its collective head in the dark hole of conservative thought and pretend things are otherwise.

Take a good look at the news, you don't see a lot of liberals breaking windows and looting stores. You don't see middle aged professional White women rushing in to grab handbags at the store down by the mall.

I'm certain that most are poor Blacks who no longer have jobs, or access to jobs.

And let us not forget that cuck now seems to be the go to word for conservatives to use against liberals. Yet the Poor Boys are a violent right wing group. Seems to me, to be a conservative is to be confused.

 

Who do you call when you have a problem?

The vast majority of police are conscience. In every group of people there are a few bad apples.

I support the police. To do the opposite or bad mouth them just creates a larger divide between the police and the civilian population. It aggravates the problem rather than solving it.

Is anyone surprised that Colorado (liberal paradise per OP) cops kill black citizens at a rate that is fifth from the top in the nation? And whites at a rate in the top ten?

It's just like with the rioting and looting and arson during Ferguson. Police discovered that most of the people arrested were from out of state. Additional investigation usually led back to a slate of radical leftist organizations that were funded by a George Soros activist foundation. You know . . . one of those oversight foundations that he fully funds without knowing what they do with his millions upon millions of dollars because -- gosh! -- that's just what social activist leftist billionaires do.

 

When people continually tell tall stories about themselves, I tend not to believe anything they say.

There is a problem that both sides are making worse in conflating the terms "leftist" and "liberal." The conservatives here, whether they recognize it or not, are in an ideological struggle with leftists (think Bernie Sanders), not liberals (think Bill Clinton). At least I think so -- the distinction between left and liberal is slippery for me, though I know it when I see it. I think.

In my view, few Republicans are pure rightists, and few Democrats are pure leftists.
