... Floyd probably knew which makes him at fault.
This type of callousness is the reason that the country has not healed.
Being punished for breaking the law isn't racism. It's called justice. People from all races are on the receiving end, by their behavior not by their race.
This type of callousness is the reason that the country has not healed.
Healed from what? The phony baloney racism is a myth.
LOL. I just read this exchange and was rolling. Raising teenagers right now I recognized this kind of discussion. It feels like trying to nail jello to a wall doesn’t it?
Total numbers, whites certainly commit the most crime. But per capita, Black people disproportionately commit the most crime. There’s totals and percentages. Im sure you understand the difference. So what’s worse? Totals or per capita? And just saying cops in a blanket statement is doing exactly why you condemn? When people say blacks are “insert negative stereotype”, it’s the same thing. You’re condemning ALL for the few. Should white people NEVER trust any Black person in any setting the way you treat ANY cop? How are you any better than the few people who actually are racist? Unless you truly believe what you’re saying. Most cops are racist? Most whites people are Racist? People who think this way are lost. Its statistically and factually incorrect.
Whites are killed by police at a rate almost double that of blacks annually. Whites do commit more crime than blacks which is to be expected as they represent a larger segment of the population. If you’re going to compare the number of blacks killed in relation to their population percentage, that is not a fair number to use. The proper correlation would be to compare it to the crime rate. That is what determines roughly how much interaction with police there will be. The more interaction, the greater the odds of a police killing (justified or not).
The US keeps statistics in how people are treated of which ethnicity by the US justice department. And it simply shows that black people are hit harder at every turn. Yes, even the sentences are longer when you take into account the criminal background. source: https://repository.law.umich.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=2413&context=articles The difference between of black people vs white behind bars on drug related crimes, while both black and white have an equal chip in there is staggering. https://www.hamiltonproject.org/cha...y_race_rates_of_drug_related_criminal_justice The difference between innocent black vs white on death row is also stagger. https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/3/7/14834454/exoneration-innocence-prison-racism So yeah... the "blind" justice draws the short straw for black people systematically. Do you realize how idiotic it is, to just never mind the utter racism that goes on in the US justice system? Have you suddenly forgotten how a guy like the US president, if he wasn't a draft dodger, had the grand opportunity to be in an army where apartheid was the norm at that time? That culture of the white population to discriminate against minorities did not just vanish!
Except when they wear a badge. Blows some peoples minds how a person who has a badge is able to break a law,... especially if the victim is black. They come up with theories that it somehow can not be that he broke a law.
I don't need to even use statistics. I can watch film of these riots and watch who is doing the looting. Who is carrying out big screen T.V.'s. Who has packages of liquor and boxes of tennis shoes coming out of ravaged stores. If you want to address "statistics and deal with skin pigmentation, I'd put my recent statistics up against yours to explain why certain skin pigmentations tend to be profiled and targeted. I'm not going to do that. I'm just going to suggest try being blind to skin pigmentation.Try addressing all human problems as the same. Lay down your weapon. I will lay down mine. That's all that will ever work! I believe it!!
No, not "more likely", they factually do commit more violent crime based on FBI violent crime statistics. It's not a question of "will they", it's a matter of fact that they do. I mean you can argue that they don't commit 51% of murder in the country if you'd like, but you'd be wrong. Do they commit more crime per capita in all categories of crime? No. Do they commit more crime per capita in homicide? Yes.
This type of callousness is the reason that the country has not healed.
We haven’t healed because of the msm lies and deception. It’s fanning of hyperpartisanship and creation of false narratives built from anecdotes. It’s selective outrage.
Here's the other problem they're going to have: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/m...s-with-neck-restraints-since-2015/ar-BB14RXR7 Minneapolis police used neck restraints at least 237 times during that span, and in 16 percent of the incidents the suspects and other individuals lost consciousness, the department's use-of-force records show. The Minneapolis police department manual specifically allows neck restraints, so all those who have been saying "They're not trained to do that" have been factually wrong this whole time. http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/police/policy/mpdpolicy_5-300_5-300? 5-311 USE OF NECK RESTRAINTS AND CHOKE HOLDS (10/16/02) (08/17/07) (10/01/10) (04/16/12) DEFINITIONS I. Choke Hold: Deadly force option. Defined as applying direct pressure on a person’s trachea or airway (front of the neck), blocking or obstructing the airway (04/16/12) Neck Restraint: Non-deadly force option. Defined as compressing one or both sides of a person’s neck with an arm or leg, without applying direct pressure to the trachea or airway (front of the neck). Only sworn employees who have received training from the MPD Training Unit are authorized to use neck restraints. The MPD authorizes two types of neck restraints: Conscious Neck Restraint and Unconscious Neck Restraint. (04/16/12) Conscious Neck Restraint: The subject is placed in a neck restraint with intent to control, and not to render the subject unconscious, by only applying light to moderate pressure. (04/16/12) Unconscious Neck Restraint: The subject is placed in a neck restraint with the intention of rendering the person unconscious by applying adequate pressure. (04/16/12)
So we should stop people from tanning. If more melanin causes one to do more crime we can lower it by no tanning allowed. Maybe inject darker skin ppl with stuff to whiten skin. Like Michael Jackson was doing.
You are correct! In fact, now, former police officer, Derek Chauvin, has been charged with BOTH 3rd-degree murder, AND manslaughter. The murder charge will be dropped in due time (after all the looting, rioting, and other anarchy has mostly been diminished). The, the D. A.'s office will go for, and get, a conviction for manslaughter. Once again, there'll be more looting, rioting, and anarchy -- because Chauvin wasn't sentenced to being hanged, drawn, and quartered... but, once again, the rioting mobs will diminish. Thus, Chauvin, like many other really STOOPID manslaughter convicts, will get a sentence of "X" number of years. He'll serve approximately 1/2 of whatever "X" is (as they all do), and probably end up getting bottom-feeder crap jobs for the rest of his miserable life.... Too bad this stupid cop couldn't just throw Floyd's ass in the patrol car and arrest him properly for passing counterfeit money....
No one is saying their skin color is the reason for their crime rate. But your dishonesty here really highlights the dem shortcoming around race. If it wasn’t for propaganda and people’s ease of falling for such nonsense, we would be in a much better position. This type of obtuse argument is literally the best dems have.
Its certainly wild that people develop such addictions to their false narratives that they go through any lengths to protect them. No reason for it, but truth just doesn’t matter anymore to some.
