Police intelligence units have uncovered encrypted and walkie-talkie communications as well as social media postings that coordinate the delivery and hiding of weapons and projectiles and the direction of anarchists to specific locations at specific times.

Who is behind this? Who bankrolls it? Who schedules the shifts? Who recruits? Who activates these folks?

These are professional rioters with a command-and-control apparatus as well as supply chains unseen in prior riots.

In local meetings where demonstrators strategize their objectives, which is a normal demonstration plan, the outsiders hijacked the peaceful demonstrators’ objectives with little to no regard for the local communities, emphasizing a call for a violent revolution.

The goal of the anarchists is instigate large numbers of locals to create chaos and additional violence and looting. About one out of every seven people arrested by the NYPD were outsiders aligned to such anarchist groups.

Anarchists are dispersing among the crowds in two or threes, draped with backpacks, hoodies, walkie-talkies instigating violence or panic.

Jackson said police will need to adapt their tactics to mirror those used by the military during wartime insurgencies overseas, particularly psychological and communications operations on social media.

“We had no idea the power of social media. We do now. It is how these folks are communicating in these riots.”

Most police departments, especially smaller ones, don’t have the resources to staff a full-time social media operations team, he said.

Jackson is recommending a special reserve unit be created — from paid to volunteer — to parachute in or be activated when rioting crises occur.

“What I'm recommending is having a major case squad of social media people, who could be called up as volunteers or otherwise who can attack the social media attacks on the police so for everything the streamers are putting out the police department is putting out the truth and its own story line so you can at least fight back,” he said.

We have had voices in the Left calling for violent revolution for 50 years. You know, I know, The American People know that this is the Left's work, not the law-abiding Right.

 

True in the sense that it was a horrific tragedy, not true in the sense of pre-meditation, the guy that shot Kate had no intention of shooting her, in fact, he fired into the ground, and the bullet skipped into her. Terrible tragedy, never should have happened, the guy should have never even been here, but, what these officers did, while wearing OUR uniform is a disgrace and they need to be stripped of their authority and held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

And, law abiding Black men, and I realize that Floyd was not, but he certainly didn't deserve to die, but law abiding black men need to be as safe on our streets as anyone else. Black wives, moms and grandmothers shouldn't feel fear clawing at their gut every time their loved ones go out for the evening, fearing that they will hear that they died violently. And today that is NOT the case, and there is no sense pretending it is.

Now one difficulty is that the biggest danger to Black males are other Black males, but we don't secure GROUP rights, we secure INDIVIDUAL rights, from whoever threatens them. The how is the tough part. We need the Black Community to support the efforts. I'd suggest working through the Black Churches and the Black Mothers and Grandmothers. They are afraid the ones helping to secure their neighborhoods will kill their sons, grandsons and husbands in the process.

The nation didn't rise up against illegal immigration for that reason because that would be a dumb reason. They would do well to rise up because we should select who comes here. The states and local authorities in both parties screwed up. Instead of embracing the protests as they have now, they resisted for political reasons. Neither wanted to deal with pissed off people out of work because the government failed to help people in a public health emergency where parts of the economy were no longer viable, shut down or not.

Would this have happened if people were looked after? Would they have been as aggrieved? In Canada, they announced a program and put the money in folks' accounts starting two days later.

No one is "running cover" for the thugs.

Sure they are.....in the course of a day, productive people are working. Some are staying home due to China Virus. These folks are doing nothing at all except providing an atmosphere conducive to looting and violence. Many don't honor the curfew, and none honor the social distancing mandated. I don't know what happened to land George on the ground but I don't think it was his pleasant demeanor. All of those cameras and no one has a video and no one has spoken about what landed him on the ground. You would think that would be one of the first questions asked.
