Your only plan to deal with illegals is to rant. Trump doesn't have a plan other than to bash and distract.

    Nonresponsive.

You haven't dealt with a thing I wrote. Trump and McConnell are starving out the American people and making them desperate for work. But he can't make them go shopping at the mall in the middle of a pandemic.

I find her disgusting because she panders to bigots for money. No one could possibly craft an argument like she has without knowing the truth.
We're going to see if you can get away with calling me a racist.
I don't know what she really believes.

No. I want to bus them across the border and dumping them in Mexico. And we need to build an electrified wall. Deport all 25 million.

    Figures.
Guess you don't know how the Federal Reserve operates.
Ah, taxation is theft. What are you planning--voluntary "taxes" to defend the country?
I'm not going to pretend every marcher is a saint, but the vast majority are peaceful.
    You should watch less television.
So, we should arrest every rightwinger in MAGA protests because these jackasses show up?

It's not okay in my books. It is in yours, of course.
Seems rather hypocritical of you to press this point given your comments about the pandemic.
    There is no "China Virus."
You just make up stuff. Guess you thought you could get me supporting people not social distancing.

We should be like Australia, not ourselves.

Perhaps the Guardian in 2006 is not the best source.

The Fed has embraced the essence of Friedman's views in setting monetary policy.

It's not as simple as setting a formula given there are many factors impacting the money supply including the velocity of money. I'd say the Fed has been pretty successful in keeping inflation within targets over the past four decades.

And what, pray tell, is the "essence" of Friedman's views?

It was wrong of me....but liberals get away with bigoted statements all the time like calling conservative people with black skin pigmentation "Uncle Tom, Tomasina, House Negro etc. I do believe those are actions of racists.....they just get away with it in our current political structure.

Correct you are, so you label her Tomasina!!

You don't support social distancing. That is evident due to your support of these protest where social distancing does not even come into play. If they stood six feet apart, enforcement would have a much easier time identifying burners and looters. As I said.....they are accomplices.

You really need to go there. ...and stay.

I'm in British Columbia, not Oregon, because my wife and I added Canadian citizenship to our U.S. citizenships years ago. We decided on riding out the pandemic in B.C. because Trump was making crazy comments in February.

Here in B.C., they're opening up because the virus is under control, even in Vancouver, the fourth densest city in North America.

I've went to the barber, the mall, and so on, but all with the blessing of the government because BC is opening up. People feel relatively safe here.

Churches are open with social distancing. Movie theaters are closed, but without new movies there's not much sense opening up. No sporting events here, either.

The border is closed to nonessential travel, so there's not much interest in Alaska cruises.

What do they call cruise ship passengers in June 2020? "Suckers."

In short, inflation is a monetary phenomenon.

I'll ask why do you say that? Running cover for the Commies? Given your viewpoints , I believe you do. The virus originated in China. Do you deny that? It was their major export last year.

Friedman walked back his everywhere and always position.

Brad Delong had a great comment on this, but I don't have the starch to go look it up.

I don't know what you think he "walked back," but he still embraced his idea that inflation is a monetary phenomenon.

you really must get excited to post that graph, I feel like i've seen it 10 times.

anyway, Vancouver is nice, BC is nice, (I prefer Alberta somewhat but i'm partial to banff) the covid numbers you have aren't dramatically different (not scary) from my area, I walk around without fear, but admittedly I was quite nervous from early to mid April, I think everyone was. I do all the same things with the blessing of my Governor, because he's not as much of an idiot as some other governors, we did shutdown lite, then started re-opening May 1, June 5 is our Phase 3 opening, and I don't believe there is a phase 4 except maybe sporting events and concerts.

Basically, I go about my day exactly as I did back early this year, just had a sitdown nice lunch with my brother, this whole virus thing didn't even come up. Most of our convo was about the riots & looting which are not happening around me, but elsewhere.

African American lobby; "The riots are the result of police brutality and racism"

The rest of America; "But violent confrontations between the police and African Americans are inevitable given their disproportionate involvement in violent crime"

AAL; "But that's the result of poverty and racism!"

TROA: "Poverty is the result of violent crime. Who's going to build a business in a black area if it's going to be looted and burnt down every time something happens the community doesn't like?"

    AAL; "But that's racism!"

TROA; "Racism does not cause black violent crime, black violent crime causes justifiable paranoia amongst the rest of America. Only African Americans can change this equation"

    AAL; "Hmmmm…?"

It is bad public policy to allow cops to murder anyone in America. Why are you defending murdering thug cops?

Speaking of rap sheets, Chauvin’s rap sheet makes Al Capone’s rap sheet look like a saint’s. He has no redeeming qualities.

Her views are absurd and offensive.
"Thomasina" being the feminine version of "Thomas."
    Yes, I do.
No, I don't support a protest without social distancing and masks at this time.
    Horse manure.
I sure don't think you add much to America, but I rather doubt the Aussies want you given your attitude about containing the virus.
