    Emergency powers ain't magic..

So now you are an expert???

The real experts say we need to do mass testing and contact tracing. Ain't rocket science, it's what South Korea did. A math guy came up with a plan to just stop the virus cold. But that would take millions of tests a day, and rigorous tracing.

    Helps if you learn.

    The COVIDIOTS have been outed.
The "experts" our leaders followed are just common nincompoops.

"Professor Neil Ferguson, of Imperial College London, revealed he had the 'greatest respect' for the Scandinavian nation, which has managed to suffer fewer deaths per capita than the UK.

He made the comments at a House of Lords Science and Technology Committee today during his first public appearance since flouting stay at home rules to have secret trysts with his married mistress last month.

The epidemiologist - dubbed Professor Lockdown - has come under fire for his modelling which predicted half a million Britons could die from Covid-19 and heavily influenced the UK's decision to rush into a nationwide quarantine."
THE DAILY MAIL, Neil Ferguson whose grim warnings prompted Boris Johnson to order TOTAL LOCKDOWN admits Sweden may have suppressed Covid-19 to the same level but WITHOUT draconian measures,
Professor admitted there is lessons to be learned from Sweden moving forward
Sweden dodged major crisis without locking down and seeing economy implode,
Professor Ferguson's team predicted staggering amount of UK deaths in March
Modelling thought to have single-handedly shocked UK into imposing lockdown,

So called experts who are in reality nothing but lifelong bureaucrats have been wrong every step of the way and your math guy doesn’t impress me either.
Millions of test day in day out is not feasible so why bother even asking for it?

Social distancing is fine, shutting down the economy is not fine and does more harm than good

We didnt have to do that, or at least not for longer than two weeks. HAd Trump not gotten a nationalistic hair up his ass, and purchased tests, till we got our own, and traced, and quarantined, we could have been JUST fine now, or at least mostly, and our head start could have snuffed any CHINA advantage, and made us the world leader we usually have been.

You should specify who you mean by "so called experts" and what decisions they made that you believe were wrong.

Trump's plan for opening our economy calls for major increases in testing and contact tracing.

At this point, it would be good if Trump would at least promote the Trump plan for opening America.

Is that too much to ask?

Let's also realize that Swedish society tends to be pretty cold and distant, and the people have less interaction with each other, and often do so more at a distance.
There's a stereotype in Sweden of people in public going out of their way to avoid being near strangers, sometimes even refusing to get in an elevator if they see someone else is in it, and waiting until the elevator is empty. (Nothing to do with the pandemic, this has been going on for decades)

Also the Winters there are very long, and things have only very recently really begun warming up in the year, so many people were still hunkering down and not going outside as much. At least in the cities. (Rural people are outside more, but there is low population density there, so disease is not likely to spread)

I suspect social, cultural, and climate factors could explain more than whatever government policy there is.

never should of listened to Trump to begin with, when Trump called for a 30 day shutdown, that is when people should of questioned it more

be like, "Trump said to do this, we sure we want to listen to Trump on this?"

Trump's plan is to say he wants the lock down and doesn't at same time

then what ever was the wrong choice, he will say he said to do the other, that is how weak leaders lead

This is such a standard pattern with him.

He wants to be the revered leader, but can't pick a direction to save his life.

~ That is exactly what Capitol Hill Democrats would like. Distroy & distract - anything to "win" the White House . It's all about power and control - not people.

Personally, I have zero interest in Trump saving his own life. He can all of the unchecked nostrums of heart failure drugs, Chlorox, and vitamins he wants!

It is everyone else's life that I am concerned with.

Yeah, who cares if we test?

As we see plenty dead bodies keeling over in America, we won't count them, we can just call it the price of progress and just celebrate a higher stock market!
