Shortly after Buffalo’s curfew started Thursday evening, city police and State Police swept through the area of Niagara Square directly in front of City Hall to clear the area where a protest was finishing. An unidentified, 75-year-old man was shoved by two officers in the line. The man lost his balance and fell to the pavement, audibly hitting his head with blood running out from under his head.

Violent (Out-of-Control) Cops are at it again.

Violently Pushing a Peaceful Protester (a 75-Year-Old Man) onto the ground causing him to bleed from the head.

When will these Violent Cops ever learn?

    Thoughts?

Can you imagine what the reaction would be if the victim of this violent, unconscionable, assault died from some sort of a brain bleed/concussion related cause?

    Yikes...:smh:

At least he is still alive.

Maybe he should get one of those upright walkers next time.

I just seen the push on TV.
One cop did it and the push was minimal.
The victim was white, so there will be little
    To no outrage.

Your that fragile, you should stay home.

This Twitter Post from a Local TV Reporter makes a great point:

In two hours, Buffalo Police have gone from “tripped and fell” to two officers suspended without pay. What would have been the result if there wasn’t cell phone video?

It appears that one of the officers that shoved and gave a serious head wound to this peaceful protester name is AARON TORGALSKI of the BUFFALO, NY POLICE DEPT. Send tweet to this address for the Buffalo Police. This is criminal assault.

    ^I AGREE.

Definitely Criminal Assault (Worthy of a Felony Charge).

All the best to the victim of this Indefensible Police Brutality...:salute:

I just called Buffalo Police Dept.
    @BPDAlerts
to demand the firing of Officer Aaron Torgalski (the one who seriously hurt the elderly man & wouldn’t help him) They told me to call Buffalo Police HQ about it instead. In case anyone feels as sickened as I do: (716) 851-4444

This has already exploded into National News (and Collective Outrage).

Are these cops in Buffalo even trained?

    It makes one wonder...:flagus:

    Officer AARON TORGALSKI?

Once his file is made public, I would bet he has a history of citizen complaints...

    Good riddance...

Did you see how the thug cops keep on walking by the old man as he lay on the ground with blood gushing from his head? That entire police detachment should be fired. They are vicious animals.

Sure, they've been trained to abuse American citizens. The DA will cover for them. The cop feared for his life.

Any cop on the scene should be fired.

Why didn't anyone immediately rush to see if he was ok?

You think that Torgalski would know better. Now his actions have ended his career he will face assault charges and he is shining a spotlight on his whole dept. Every personnel file of BFD needs to be made public. Is this a pattern? Let's find out.

    Unreal.:smh:

The "official" BPD version was that he "slipped and fell"...smh:

Gawd, they had no trouble walking passed him while he was down with blood coming out of the back of his head, so why could they not walk by him while he was standing?

Come on man that wasn't "violent". After walking right up and getting in the face of a police line that was clearly organized for containment, he got right in the face of an officer and was shoved with what I would describe as minimal force upon which he wobbled back unable to control his own footing and fell. Its unfortunate and I'm glad hes ok but this is exactly what happens when people think they can get away with anything simply because they're mad. If I walked up to you and yelled inches from your face you'd push me too and I'd deserve it.

The guy was 75. I'm sure the cops could see he was an old man. You don't shove old folks just because of stuff like what happened.

The real topper is how he acted while the old man lay there with blood pouring out.

    Disgusting.

    True.

But, I am not a cop.

And, such an incident in the current atmosphere was unconscionable.

That cop lost his job, will face charges, and has shined a light on his whole dept.

The last thing that any cop in this country needed.

    Another incident like this.

They showed complete disregard for the man's health and safety although they could clearly see that red blood was gushing from his head. Assault on old people carries an extra penalty.

When you read the story you will see that the cop spokesman lied (as usual) and claimed that the man tripped. The video plainly shows the thug cop shoving the man backwards.

How do you know a cop is lying? He is talking.

Nope! he assaulted the Cops first and they pushed him back. Not the Cops fault he's too old and uncoordinated to stay on his own two Feet, he should have stayed home and watched the Protests on his TV.
