Police Are Investigating After A Homeless Man In A Wheelchair Was Allegedly Shot In The Face With A Rubber Bullet

"You could see him sitting in the street, looking at everyone and he was fine," she said. Police then turned into the street from the other side, with the man sitting near the sidewalk between a group of uniformed police and the protesters.
"I heard one of the rubber bullets go off, and then [police] came up, and they told us to get back," Reingewirtz said. "He looked like he might have been screaming."
Reingewirtz started taking pictures of the scene, with the homeless man bleeding in the chair and police aiming their weapons at protesters just outside the frame.
"He was just there," she recalled, adding that it took about 10 minutes before officers approached the man and took him away to receive treatment for the wound just above his eye. "It was horrifying and hard to look at."

Why is a homeless, disabled man in the middle of a freaking protest to begin with? This is all about making the police look bad to generate more support for defund the police, and to be a policeless State. When that comes, we're all our own brother's keeper for better or worse.

 

How is this a right wing/left wing thing? Even if it were, contrast it with the murder of police, vandalism, looting, rioting.

When rubber bullets are shot at some distance, they veer into faces. This is well known, and ignored. Add to this, some cops LIKE the damage they inflict.

How does that change anything?

 

If I go down to the protest where there is going to resistence to police and that non-lethal means of crowd control will be used should I be shocked and upset if a rubber bullet hits me?

 

If the city and state are under the direct control of those who identify with the left wing liberal half of the political divide, the law enforcement officers cannot be of the conservative half of the divide. If this act was committed by law enforcement, it was committed by officers who subscribe to the left wing liberal ideology and utilize the tactics prescribed by their leadership.
