We're not talking about the dogs thoughts- we're talking of the way people use an identifier like a dogs color as a reference to what they can expect the dogs behavior to be like, because it is common to others of the same color. That parallels racism; what the dog thinks is irrelevant.

And if you knew dogs well- you would know they are capable of rational thought. The readily recognize the difference for example between being kicked and tripped over, and react differently, perceive the person differently. They solve problems too and they are usually very good judges of character.

Of course you understand the post very well, but choose to dodge it with semantics. Didn't work.

If you understand that to be true of dogs, you must also know it's easy to make a dog violent. Same problem with the blacks.

I think most white people are apathetic, not racist. Minorities have equal protection under the law. What else do they want, a cookie?

And if someone makes you mad, then it's reasonable for you to burn the auto parts store down the street, loot it, and throw bricks at any passing cop- who shouldn't interfere, because after all- you're mad.
And of course you should get to do that for at least 10 days or so.

I understand the logic. Do you suppose anyone that's white has resentment towards blacks for their actions? Do you suppose any of the victims of the rioters might be mad, and ready to become violent? How about the cop hit in the face with a brick?

If your concept of justice is that the world must never offend you no matter what you do- you are in for a great deal of misery all you life.
Right now, the sales of guns and ammunition have gone through the roof, because even the anti-gun people are realizing that the world is full of people with fake morals and fake character who love violence, and the chance of being attacked by these thugs is growing everyday- and the cops are being told to stand down while they are doing it rather than protect them.

You make the rules by the way you play the game- and have no right to complain when your intended victims respond in kind, or greater, as you would be the instigator and deserve no quarter.

When that dog you trained to be violent gets off his chain bad things happen. Yeah, I can see your analogy now.

Where did that come from? Outta left field?

If you are adding profiling to the mix, I say if 86% of terrorist activities are committed by mid-East looking Muslims then the police and Homeland Security should spend more time eyeing those look-alike people than 80-year old white grandmothers. But then that has long been declared wrong by the PC fascist police. If 68% of crime is committed by young blacks then the police should check out young blacks with more scrutiny than others.

That would be like the two black brothers named Carr; who did a home invasion 20 years back. They took 5 captives out to a soccer field in the dark of night and the dead of winter, forced them to strip, engaged in rape and torture, then shot them all in the head. Unfortunately for them one shot was actually a crease. The girl played dead, later walked naked about a half-mile through the snow to a distant farmhouse light to help and immediately reported. The Carrs were quickly caught in the stolen car, caught with credit cards, and possessions of the victims, along with the matching murder weapon. Absolutely no question of guilt. They under a death sentence now- for 20 years now, and it's still being appealed on technical grounds. Of course we are housing them, feeding them and providing medical care for them. Just how much understanding and tolerance do you think such people deserve? The both had prior violent records, it wasn't their first rodeo. Wasn't George's either, he too was a convicted home invader with a gun.

The police are releasing criminals now. Those arrested at the riots were released on their own recognizance and now assume that the consequences for rioting, looting and arson are a lot like those of a traffic ticket. That's not much of a deterrent, is it?

Trash always blame their violence on others. It's of course a psychological dodge- just BS, because nobody makes you mad; that is an emotional reaction to external events that occurs within the person, determined by their own character and self-control. You CHOOSE to be mad, but nobody "makes" you mad- so your anger is ALWAYS your personal responsibility. You CHOOSE what to do about it. IF you have actually been wronged, there is legal recourse- which has been stretched to the limit to benefit minorities.

This is more like an internal disease with some people, not an external act forcing them to chose violence. It's similar to a dog with rabies as compared to a dog trained to be aggressive. The aggressive dog still responds to his training. Rabid dogs get shot- because that is all that works. There is a difference here- in the the choice to become rabid is within the power of the person doing so, and that means there is no reason for sympathy, empathy or tolerance.

Back in the days when airplane hijacks became popular, the Israeli security people told the US equivalent they were doing it wrong- They said "You look for the bomb- We look for the bomber".
But in the interests of ?Justice? we continued to search little old ladies and babies, and worked to avoid making any who appeared to be middle eastern uncomfortable. PC first, common sense and effectiveness down the list of importance, well below "stupidity".

Get tired of people who either can't read (I'm sure you can) or twist the message (as you just have).
The example explains how color of skin- or anything that makes a person different becomes an identifier that will connect that person to the typical perception of other like them.
Cops for example- none of these people give a rats ass about the individual; if they have a uniform on, they are racist pigs. White? White supremacist.

Got it now? Or is that so far over your head you can't connect?

No, I think he just said that when you are looking for fish, you should spend more time checking in the water than in the trees.

~ If you want to see racism you will. It's the "victimhood" mentality pushed by many leftist political & social groups.
Stop thinking about race and you will not see it unless it's actually obvious.

No thank you. I have found that the racism here is out in the open where you can see it. Not hidden under the surface like up north. Besides... I hate California politics.

Then so does systematic refusal to use some common sense, to refuse to accept responsibility, to blame everything that doesn't work for you on racism...... That sure as hell exists

The concept you call systematic racism is like saying the only reason slow runners lose races is that society made the rules unfair. So- it's part of the system.
Wealth is not equal- so the people who work hard, plant and tend their gardens and do well are stealing food from those who expect theirs to grow from volunteer seeds blown in on the wind.
Fat is systematic too, because society has failed to refuse to serve excess food to fat people. Short people- cheated. Less attractive people- cheated.
All entitled to justice owed to them by others.
Yeah. All that is systemic inequality.

It's a pitiful excuse that is mostly hogwash in the first place, and the part that is not doesn't prevent success by the people who don't embrace the idea and choose to lose.
