    Me thinks there is a notable difference between someone like
    JK Rowling creating stories and characters for entertainment
    and Rush Limbaugh/Tucker Carlson/Hannity creating stories and characters for entertainment.
    I don't see any positive aspect for NOT canceling the later three.

    Hard to imagine that mob mentality has taken over so many institutes of higher learning.

    They've gone after Steven Pinker (one of the signatories), not trying to get him fired from Harvard, but trying to have him expelled as a member of the American Linguists Society.

    The goal of slandering these esteemed professors is to produce a next-generation of academics who are trained (through fear and intimidation) not to express dissent against those who speak loudest. After some successes on university campuses, they are testing that goal for all of society.

    At least Pinker is keeping some sense of humor.

    I"m guessing there are more folks out there like myself who don't believe "Alternative Facts" are the same as Truth.
    If any media says something that evidence can prove as true, how can there be a valid argument against it?
    Yet Trump can lie all day long if he chooses to, and Fox news (and you) will cheer him on.

    A disagreement as to what the facts are is not a lie, and ninety percent if what the media calls lies are actually disagreements about the facts.

    "Everything" is a big word, driving along the city streets watching activity pick back up despite the Kung Flu shutdowns. "Destroyed" is what Dems do to the cities they've held since the 1960s and 70s (in other words, most cities). "Unprepared for the future" was supposed to be the teacher's jobs as much as the parents. Who failed whom here? Bad parents or uncaring educrats?

    No simply disagreeing with an opinion is not lying...but if there exist facts that prove your opinion to be mistaken
