Maybe. Look at leadership of countries which Hillary Clinton toppled and left a vacuum. Obama used drone attacks like he was playing with a video game, killing civilians left and right. There is not a lot of difference between Democrats and Republicans if you ignore what they say and look at what they do, when they do anything at all.

Neocons have been the largest part of the problem for a very long time.

Trump should use that at his next rally. Jagger would probably drop his lawsuit BS. ;-)

I could see Gabbard as the left-wing half of this concept. The choice of candidates is crucial. Weinstein has lost faith in Dems and Reps, just like many Americans have. The candidates will not be career politicians. I think the idea is to get the career politicians to talk to each other, or expose themselves and get quickly ousted from Congress.

Weinstein is counting on the "Exhausted Majority" in the political middle. Not sure anyone in politics will ever engage that "Politically Disengaged" center though (plus we don't know if the disengaged are left, right or center...or simply apolitical).

The thinking is that Americans have more in common with each other than our politicians tell us we have. I agree.

can't say with certainty, but President Trump calls democrats radical.

that suggests they sympathize with terror and allowed 9/11 in the first place

Almost all Americans can safely be relied on to vote receive the money if given a choice: 1. The money or
    2. the government program.

A third party could be built on that.
Of course, the DP or the RP could always wake up and use it to win - easily.

It just suggests that Trump has not met enough real radicals yet.

So far just minor vandalism, looting and killing.
Less significant than a Baltimore or Chicago weekend.

weinstein appears to be a democrat zionist, trying to steal the Zionist vote from Republicans.

Zionists are wise enough to know Republicans protect Israel better than democrats.

The elite NeverTrumps changed names to The Lincoln Project, and are backing Biden. Neo-cons backing Neo-libs. Yawn. Same old "Save the political elites from outsiders who might help American citizens instead of helping only themselves.

Agreed. Weinstein is sounding the alarm on the totalitarian left which is threatening our country today. Weinstein himself strikes me as being somewhere left of a Classical Liberal. (Not sure I trust Weinstein's definition of "Centrist" if he's in charge...I may find both of his candidate choices too liberal.) If he is calling out the Far Left as an existential threat to our country, we know we're in big trouble.

Probably just a white racist radical "leftist".
There is a lot of that going around these days.

Is there a VP in this plan or are they Co. Presidents?

Trump is not a man of finesse or detail. He is calling out the Radical Democrats (not calling all Democrats radical). He is a failure as messaging his points in a manner which is clear, no doubt. Meanwhile, the Democrat leaders who would have been considered "non-radical" in 2015, but simply "liberals", are siding with the radicals at the moment. So, there is that.

One runs a President; the other as VP. At the end of 4 years, the VP runs as President and the President runs as VP. In other words they take turns. Technically, they could constitutionally do this for 16 years, with each one as "President" for 2 terms.

....unless of course, the plan turns out to be lousy, or the wrong candidates are chosen and it turns into disaster. Then they'd be in office for one term before voters kicked them out. LOL

    Mod--errrr-aatttttes! Moderate. LOL

Though, technically, if this party is formed with "Co-Presidential" rules and guidelines, then Weintstein could convince McCraven/Yang to run, Oprah/Nugent could team up, and say, Haley/Gabbard could run in a primary to see which pair challenges the Dem and Rep nominees.

Most Jews are Liberal Democrats....like Weinstein....and vote Blue. He just sees Biden's dementia and Trump's divisiveness and is trying to conceive a better plan for the American future of politics, where the citizens reunite instead of fighting each other all the time.

This new party doesn't have prayer in 2020. It's too late.

all republicans should vote for this new party, split their votes so dems win by default - this is the real reason a third party will never work
