The best news is that there's a fair amount of "one and all"'s..

They will be the people that will attempt to rebuild your party from scratch starting in 2021... I'd show them a little more respect..

Once you finally realize Trump never was a conservative, which you will someday...

This is a big ho-hum. Kasich has been a Democrat in drag for many years. Good to see him coming out.

You have the parties mixed up. It is the Democrats who have put party before country ever since Obama, maybe since Clinton though that is not so obvious, and in spades since 2015.

So, would it be possible for you list all the people left who are still Republicans in, or recently in, public office?

    Shouldn't take too long...

Also, I want to ping you and scratch them off when they say something mean aboutcher boy...

No one even thinks of Kasish as being the last man standing against Trump. Cruz was the only real competition at the end. Kasich was just milqetoast, sitting around 100 mile radius of his home eating a diners, no money to much else, but not dropping out. He turned himself into a laughing stock.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm bummed Ted Cruz isn't our POTUS right now if that side had to win...

I am also but i could just see and hear the attacks that the Trumpocity and his cabal of cultists will tweet and expel audible noises from various bodily openings.

i might as well preempt the Trumpocity goons and say that we will hear stuff such as "her campaign does not have legs"
"her campaign will crash and burn like her helicopter".... "Trump will say that he like veterans who did not get shot down.....Trump will say that "I like veterans who did not lose their legs.." Trump will say crap about her looks such as "she would never be a contestant in my pageants"

Hope you're not suggesting that this only happens on the Republican side?

Trump won because he's not a Republican, or even ultra-conservative. He's populist (for the people) Nationalist. Trump's policies are similar to the Blue Dog Democrats, when the Democrats used to be the party which looked out for the workers in America. Now no one in the "old-school" establishment Washington does that.

If the will of most of the people in most states is to go back to the greedy political elite establishment of the one-party system in D.C., which destroys us, then so be it.

Globalism, practiced by both parties since the 90's, destroyed America's middle class, and made China a dangerous and equal global financial rival. If Biden and the Republican/Democrat RINO/DINO's win, China will emerge from the coming global depression as the new world power broker. Globalism failed American workers. Biden will continue to boost it, and we'll all suffer the consequences.

A lot of Texas' Cruz supporters still don't like Trump, but most will vote for him. Policies would have been very similar, but Cruz would not have had such a jarring impact on deepening the divisions. He's one of the most intelligent experts on the Constitution and on government/civics, and his measured personality would have made a huge difference. Essentially, Cruz has the diplomacy to treat opponents with respect.

....but hindsight is 20/20. Now 2020 looks like it may be a disaster for the working classes, and a "win" for the DINO's/RINO's.

Ted Cruz is not remotely the worst example of Trumpublicanism in 2020.... that's as far as I'll go on the topic of Ted Cruz...

At least he knows the difference between Elijah Cummings and John Lewis (probably)

That's all you got out of it, which is fine by me. Not everyone is interested in a conversation globalism versus nationalism, or the long-term consequences of either decision. Just go "beat Trump" today and we all get to experience the consequences tomorrow.

I'm pretending it doesn't happen on both sides? Do you know what reading comprehension is? Because I'm not sure how you can think that I think it doesn't happen on both sides after asking the question I did. Or were you trying to say something different and worded your post wrong?

Kasich was a tool, and now demonstrates that he is still a tool. That's why his brand couldn't attract national attention.

Kasich is too conservative for the new Trumpublican party.

No, America was able to build itself into the greatest country full of more opportunities for more people after WWII and before 1990, before the Democrats and Republicans destroyed the middle class through international trade agreements on the idea that "globalism" wouldn't hurt American workers. In hindsight, globalism has hurt Americans badly over the last 30 years.

Trump may be a complete jerk, but he is/was trying to repair some of the damage caused when the two parties turned into one elitist/globalist party.

Kasich, RINO's, DINO's...and Biden....are protecting their own interests and the empire they've helped build. American people, the majority who are increasingly indebted and impoverished, really aren't included as much as society's losses are acceptable collateral damage.

How many manufacturers came back to the United States since Trump's election? I thought he said they would all come back. That didn't happen.

An amazing number of jobs came back across all economic classes, the poor, the middle-class, and the wealthy. Usually, only the wealthy have increased wealth over 30 years. Trump's economic policies (reduced taxes here and increased taxes on imports from China) raised all boats, increased domestic business investment and created jobs....for American workers.

That's quite an accomplishment over 3 years, especially considering all the push-back from the moneyed elite ruling class at every single step.

And, if you've ever worked in management at a corporation, you would know they don't exactly turn on a dime, snap their fingers, and build manufacturing plants overnight.
