An 'unbreakable' man: Former presidents hail civil rights icon John Lewis at funeral in Atlanta

Today America laid to rest a real American Icon.

A man of integrity, a man of great will and a man of God.

John Lewis served this country as a true statesman for decades.

Rest in Peace Mr. Lewis, you will truly be missed.

Its a pretty good bet that if Clinton, Bush and Obama show up to honor you, you deserved to be honored. As for Carter he appointed Lewis to lead ACTION a govt agency in charge of volonteerism. The Carters at 95 are not traveling these days. This was read at the service.

That was 15 years before I was born, but yes, the democrat led state and city leaders really did a number on those marchers, didn't they?

Still though, a "leader" who lies to the nation and is disproven by video I wouldn't call a man of integrity.

 

Figures a Trump supporter would disrespect the dead, especially a man that nearly gave his life for civil rights. I will have to remind myself of this post, when you claim others are hateful.

To be fair, Trump didn’t go because we know he doesn’t give a damn and it would have been an insult for him to be there anyway. So I think Trump made the right move by not attending.
