I'm getting sick of reminding your team that mail in voting has been a thing since President Lincoln demanded it. That was a long time ago. Get. Over. It. I had to sign my name to get on the ballot mailing list. I had to be a registered voter.

Trump fans on this site lie, too, but apparently it is against the rules to call that out.

Wasn't Fox...it was the Washington Post and WSJ that have discussed it.

You Gov is being sued currently....for supressing the votes of 1000s

It's been months since the election and you all still don't have a winner.

Maybe you should get out more

That's because Trump is a ****ing moron who wants to appear like he knows of a difference between absentee and mail-in ballots.

Absentee ballots have to be applied for, go through a process further out, and after they are approved given an absentee ballot.

What has happened in some states, and what the Dems are pushing is mailing out ballots in mass to homes.

You have been misinformed. In fact, everyone knows by now that vote fraud and election rigging is now very common.
Just ask Bernie Sanders how that works. ;-)

And vote fraud just got much easier.

"Many Americans are expected to vote by mail for the first time in November 2020 because of coronavirus concerns, so "CBS This Morning" sent out 100 mock ballots, simulating 100 voters in locations across Philadelphia, in an experiment to see how long one should give themselves to make sure their vote counts.

For the experiment, a P.O. box was set up to represent a local election office. A few days after the initial ballots were mailed, 100 more were sent. "

"A week after initial ballots were sent, most ballots appeared to be missing from the P.O. box.

"I don't see anything back there for you," a postal worker told Dokoupil when he received the mail. "That's all I have back there right now.""

Vote fraud is now so easy I expect even our hapless Republican pols will figure out how to do it before November. ;-)

If the state governors do not appoint house and senate seats -- the only way the scenario works - and the house of representatives remains vacant...
... being President doesn't mean much.

because there is a difference between what the left is proposing and doing .....and absentee ballots.

Absentee ballots require..an application...and well a legit reason you are absentee.

Moreover the infrusture, as we are seeing in NY, is not set up in most states for universial mail in voting.

If you really believe that you need to find better sources - stat.

"Four days after mailing the second batch of mock ballots, 21% of the votes hadn't arrived.
According to Postal Service recommendations, "voters should mail their return ballots at least one week prior to the due date."

However, nearly half of all states still allow voters to request ballots less than a week before the election.

Tammy Patrick [former Arizona election official] said many states' mail-in voting policies simply do not take the postal system into account."

Some absentee ballots automatically get sent to individuals and require the exact same process for obtaining and completing as a mail-in ballot.

The only difference is that one gets sent to a primary place of residence and the other gets to sent to wherever the person is currently residing.

The President, after stating the obvious, asked a question.
If that's all it takes to "float" an idea, then the number and variety of ideas "floated" by him and everyone else is uncountable - the left has "floated" the idea that Trump would try to postpone the elections for months.

    MAIL-IN BALLOTS NEED AN APPLICATION.

Seriously, why the **** are you pretending like you can enunciate a difference?

Only some states require a reason. I didn't receive a ballot. I received an invitation to request a ballot. I had to sign and reply that I did.

Let us suppose that someone walks up to you and says, "I am wondering how you would feel if I beat your ass to bloody pulp?"

Do you walk away thinking, "Ah, well I am unconcerned because that man was simply floating an idea and asking a question?"

No, you do not. Because you are - hopefully - not a ****ing moron.

    WRONG!!!

more than 50% of the states allow absentee ballots for ANY reason they like, or no reason at all.

28 states and the District of Columbia offer “no excuse absentee voting.” Any voter in these states can vote by absentee ballot, even if they are able to vote in person on Election Day.

Take your ballot to the drop-box on the day of the election. It is safer than standing in line and more secure than mailing your ballot.

    Lolwut? :roflol:

Sanders WASN'T "black balled", he lost fair and square.

And, any suggestion that Sanders was black balled is beyond misguided.

Sanders never even had a realistic chance at the Nomination.

    Biden was always a lock.
And everybody knew that Biden had strength in SC and the South.
Everybody expected the Biden Blowout Win in SC.
And on Super Tuesday, it played out just like everybody expected it to.

Also, 2020 is NOT 2016, and Sanders' Voters are overwhelmingly voting for Biden.
Given the Binary Choice and urge to get rid of Trump.

Mail-In Voting will work just fine, if it becomes necessary.

In any event, Trump's term expires on Jan. 20th (regardless).

Trump and the GOP are in Major Trouble.

Everybody knows that Trump's Mantra of "Mail-in Bad" is just Unfounded Conspiratorial Fear-Mongering coming from the GOP (because they KNOW that they are going to LOSE).

In any event, Trump can't postpone the date of the election.

And, if NO Federal Election is held, a Democrat (Patrick Leahy) becomes President.

A Massive In-Person Election is NOT happening. Period.

My guess would be that Democratic-Run States would be much more likely to move to Widespread Mail-In Voting, and that GOP-Run States would be more likely to (possibly) employ the risky "strategy" of forcing In-Person participation.

Regardless, Trump will No Longer be President on the afternoon of 1/20/21.
