Top dems continue to oppose relief checks over the China virus.

They continue to oppose the withdrawal of US forces from the middle east.

And now they stab their voters in the FRONT by opposing Medicare for all.

Someone please tell me what the strategy is here, because between this and Biden I don't see how they can POSSIBLY win in November.

Same reason they support legalizing weed until it it comes time to vote on it. They're elitist authoritarian corporate whores pandoring for votes from the bleeding hearts who capriciously flock around emotional issues.

    None of that matters.

It is a Binary Choice and The Dems are United to defeat Trump.

Once again, another sham narrative (that won't move the needle) falling on Deaf Ears.

Oh well, nothing sticks to Biden.

    Trump is Toast.

Because defunding the police is their primary goal.

85 percent of dems support medicare for all, and its struck down and that does not matter?

Can you link to studies that it won't matter, particularly in this china virus economy?

The democrat platform sounds like a dismissal of what most dems agree with.

And the dem primaries aren't even a popular vote.

    Who would ever support that?

You guys accuse Dems of being “far left” and when they don’t go “far left” (even though Medicare for all is not “far left”) you criticise them for it???

    smh

85 percent of dems support medicare for all and the democrat party smacks it down-and the best you can do is talk about "you guys"

    Why the diversion?

If its what dems want why aren't they supporting this?

The old 'pander to the left during the primaries, then run to the center during the general' tactic. This is so obvious even I can see it.

So there was enough in-fighting over the platform to justify a news article on it, hundreds of delegates have vowed to vote against the bill, and somehow that gets interpreted as no support for Medicare for All in the Democrat party?

    Whatever you say.

Interesting you say that as the whole move to the center thing does not appear to be where Biden is going.

The news is that the DNC is saying no to 85 percent of its voters.

That's a bold strategy-lets see if it pays of.

Your concern for the Democrats is touching. Truly it is.

Don't worry about the Trump Virus, or the Trump/McConnell recession. Democrats will be there to pick up the pieces - as always...

That is, after all, how you WIN elections.

And if you ever want to get all the things you propose you have to win the election first. Especially in this case, where you have a guy who is not giving you a second chance.

Yeah, on a symbolic platform with significant vocal opposition.

Do you really Dems are worried about how the hard Left is going to vote in this election?

    Why shouldn't it?

Do you really think that voters who find Biden too rightist are going to vote for Trump? And most of them realize by this point that not voting is voting for Trump. He is the incumbent and therefore he is the one who profits by each vote not cast

If Biden wins on this platform all that means is that Medicare for All will probably not come up in this Congress but will be on the table next year. If Trump wins you won't see ANY healthcare plan for at least 4 years and probably the foreseeable future

Isn't it strange how it's all the Trumpers who are suddenly telling us that Biden isn't leftist enough? How nice of them to point this out.

Hey, but don't feel bad, maybe you guys can hitch a ride on that turnip truck y'all think we just fell off of.:p

    Unreal isn't it?

They're running a demented criminal/rapist, and their voters have absolutely no shame or awareness.

If there's a difference between this and the behavior of Nazis, I'm no longer seeing it.

Right after Obama got elected, he said he would need the kind of passion that got hum elected to push Congress in the right direction.

    That is still true.

    It's a fight.

The billionaires have a lot of advantages, but take a look around, so do the people when aroused.

Trump isn't the thread topic and I mean only to inform about the current state of the democrat party.

That said Republicans purged and are purging the republicans who didn't represent us.

13 percent of Bernie supporters voted for Trump in 2016.

They wanted to shake things up, as did I.

Trump has been wanting to reform healthcare.

Please break it down for me-how can the same people who cry about the popular vote openly tolerate their own party ignoring 85 percent of its voters AS the DNC selects its candidate without regard to its voters.
