10 YEARS AGO TODAY: JOE BIDEN PRAISES FORMER KKK LEADER ROBERT BYRD AS A ‘MENTOR’
    [IMG]
Ten years ago today, Joe Biden praised former Ku Klux Klan “Exalted Cyclops” Robert Byrd, calling him a “friend,” “mentor,” and “guide.” Byrd once recruited and led a 150-member chapter of the KKK.

It wasn’t the first or last time Biden had great things to say about a person who’d had racist views. Biden previously called another Senate segregationist, Strom Thurmond, as “one of my closest friends” and thanked him on the Senate floor for helping him pass laws to incarcerate Black Americans for crack cocaine offenses.

Just last year, Biden bragged about his relationships with other Senate segregationists. After Senator Cory Booker questioned Biden’s judgement, Biden lectured Booker and demanded an apology (on Juneteenth).

RCP got MI, WI, and PA wrong, other than that, why they function as well as Biden's brain!

And? Robert Byrd was a piece of garbage who is burning in hell. Biden clearly had bad judgment with respect to who he chose as his "mentor," but there is a difference between a person praising a racist (Biden) and a person who is a racist (Trump).

Obviously. Also an approval rating is not the same as head to head voter preference poll, since we are talking about obvious ****.

How did Rasmussen do in 2018?

They didn't get those states wrong. The results for each of those states was well within the margin of error.

Something which did not happen for Rasmussen in 2018.

The point is that the democrats have always had a relationship with the KKK.

Historically they were the armed wing of the democrat party, not unlike antifa or BLM today.

Here is a 4 time democrat congressman outraged by Bidens racist comments.

If you do a little digging you will realize he's made many more.

Also he opposed desegregation and said he didn't want his own kids growing up in a "racial jungle".

Is she running on a 3rd Party in 2020?

Or are the Dems going to nominate her instead of Biden?

That endorsement sounds like real gamechanger..

    Thanks for the Breaking News.:bored:

Now, back to the actual thread topic and that FAKE Poll.

Here is the current RCP No Tossup Map:

Rasmussen did not consider all those votes found in closets and trunks of cars. Why did dems mostly win races that were close but were delayed? Hmmm......

Because more people voted for Democrats. Approximately 8.7% more Americans voted for House Democrats than voted for House Republicans. The largest margin of victory for any midterm in US history. But you keep on clinging to your latest conspiratorial bullshit theory if it makes you feel better.

How did Rasmussen do in 2018?

Considering it's a full time polling company Rasmussen couldn't even do better than CNN in 2018

    https://www.rt.com/usa/443136-cnn-rasmussen-democrats-republicans/

"One day before Americans head to cast their ballots in the crucial midterm congressional elections, two final polls conducted by CNN and Rasmussen have predicted wildly different results.
The final generic poll conducted by left-leaning CNN has put Democrats 13 points ahead of Republicans. Meanwhile, a separate poll carried out by the more right-leaning Rasmussen agency has suggested that Republicans are leading, but by a much smaller margin of one point."

Also Psycho-Trump's negatives were in the mid 50s in 2016. as was Clintons.
But in 2020 Trump still occupies negatives in the mid50s. and Biden's negatives are no where near that a vital see change. In 2016 Trump was hated but so was Clinton. Not so with Biden. Also remember Clinton was a target of Republicans for almost 10 years before she became a presidential candidate. You and your cronies just don't get it but you will.

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...em-people-dont-hate-him-like-they-did-hillary
" recent Fox News poll found that 53% of registered voters have a favorable impression of Biden, compared to 44% unfavorable. Other polls show higher unfavorable numbers for Biden, suggesting Trump campaign attacks are beginning to take their toll. But the RealClearPolitics national average still has his net favorability at -1.6%, while Trump’s stands at -14.3%. Biden’s numbers are also noticeably better than top congressional leaders of both parties, including Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, and Chuck Schumer."

    :roflol:.

Yeah, that clip is from 2012 after Artur Davis switched parties.

Yeah, a 4-Term Dem. Congressman who left Congress in 2011.
Then switched parties to the GOP, and became a prominent Conservative Voice.

In 2012, the conservative National Review online started publishing some of his political commentary.

At the time that he attacked Biden, he was a Strong Conservative and a Member of the GOP.

Davis spoke at the Republican National Convention in August 2012 to voice additional criticisms of Barack Obama. Following Mitt Romney's loss in the 2012 presidential election, Davis said: "The Republican conservative base seems perilously close to shrinking to white southern evangelicals, senior white males, and upper income Protestants."

And some people expect this Ancient Stuff to move the needle?:roflol:

There is. First, Trump unlike Biden implicitly (and in many cases explicitly) gives racists cover to crawl from under their rocks by calling them "good people" and defending objects like the Rebel Flag and statues erected during the 20th century celebrating the Confederacy and all the horror it stood for. Second, Biden would never have sent "Brown Shirts" into cities like Portland in an effort to inflame racial tensions and to rip those cities apart. As the orange menace would say, "It is a huuuuuge difference."

In 2018 Dems were lying through their teeth that Trump had colluded with the Russians and were in denial that Trump was being spied on going back to Obama.

    People don't forget these lies.
