Yes Blue - a zygote is both alive - and human - .. hence the term "Living Human Cell" There are other things that are both alive and human - things such as the sperm - egg - and human blood cells - brain cells and so on .

A Human is also both alive and Human - but not all things both alive and Human .. .are Humans. This concept seems far to much for many anti-aborts to grasp for some reason - not that you are anti -abort - but you do seem unable to get this distinction.

Take an egg out of a woman, mix it with sperm, and put it in the freezer. I hate to rehash this, but no pro-lifer ever responds. If the morning after pill is immoral, how is creating multiple conceived babies, only to choose one for survival, in any way moral?

Provide it the nutrients in a proper fashion it will, test tube babies, but then a dish is not the natural environment for a zygote while it is for cut off nail clippings. Put nail clippings in the womb, where humans ARE created, will they grow and develop into a more complex human being, a separate entity?

The trash is the normal state for discarded fingernails not a womb. Put fingernails in a test tube will they grow ans continue to developed as a separate complete being? Do you even know what fingernails are made.off and how they "grow"? They are simply a protein, keratin. If you put them in a womb do they grow becoming an even more advanced being?
