President Trump should say to take zinc, Hydroxychloroquine won't work without zinc.

this would not go well with the pharmaceutical companies, but they are attacking him so he should support alternative medicine.

Do you have a link to a completed RCT that supports the use of that combination?

there are many studies done in Israel to support this combination.

clinical trials take years when new diseases come, this is a most recent biological attack from china.

Do you think the FDA trustworthy?

“Randomized trials are essential in the search for minor variations in patient response to treatments. But when major improvements in treatment exist and can be made available, it is neither reasonable nor ethical to carry out such studies. Ask any patient, would you rather have chemotherapy alone with an assured fatal outcome, or would you rather receive chemotherapy plus a personalized vaccine where at least 50% of the patients will be alive and in remission five years later?

The new FDA commissioner—whoever it is—should immediately change procedures or ask for legislation to encourage the more rapid

development and approval of personalized therapies to those in peril. We must calculate the lives lost and improve the system so these new, less toxic, more effective, personal medicines can be made available now.”

It is not ethical to administer unproven "cures". The first directive of a doctor is to do no harm. Administering unproven remedies risks harm to the patient.

Did you know that zinc also works to reduce high cholesterol?

But you have to take it with Lipitor.

Because Lipitor IS A DRUG THAT WORKS TO REDUCE HIGH CHOLESTEROL.

The only people I ever hear talking about it being a cure are people like you.

You are trying to discredit your own strawman

Many drugs are prescribed by physicians before they have been subjected to double blind studies.

LOL! Search the forum for "cure". Some of your righty friends even created threads with it in the title.

Yeah, by now we know the story. There is still no evidence that this is political, to hurt Trump. Provide evidence for this allegation, or take it back. What you are trying to to is to discredit all medical science as bad and anti-Trump, because of this one example. But the evidence doesn't support your allegations.

Well, I just showed you that your claim that nobody claims HCQ is a cure was wrong. Of course, you say "so what" after the premise of your post was shown to be false.

I am waiting for ANYONE in the “they just don’t like Trump” to come out with a convincing argument that it should be used on ANYONE

    Nope!
They would risk registration to practice not to mention opening themselves to horrendous litigation.

Your question; Do you think the FDA is trustworthy?

Well, I guess you didn't write: "The only people I ever hear talking about it being a cure are people like you."? Maybe you can help me understand what that means? To me, it is pretty obious.

In the OP's synopsis they suggest "advocating as well that it be made available over the counter in the United States."
Trump's crowing approval of HCQ is certainly the driver of its reckless promotion.

    {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{shudder}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Good pick up! A drug as toxic as HCQ available over the counter?? Well it would reverse the slide into an idiocracy
