Fact Sheet; Explaining Operation Wharp Speed.....

How will the goal be accomplished?

By investing in and coordinating countermeasures development, OWS will allow countermeasures such as a vaccine to be delivered to patients more rapidly WHILE ADHERING TO STANDARDS FOR SAFETY AND EFFICACY.

Development; To accelerate development WHILE MAINTAINING STANDARDS FOR SAFETY AND EFFICACY.

    ————-

“Standards for safety and efficacy MEANS; By The Book, By the Book, By the Book, and like Fauci said; We can’t accelerate clinical trials.

QUESTION; Is President Trump a “By The Book” guy?

    Let’s see.....

TRUMP; “To prevent Covid19, I’ve been taking the pill (Hydroxy) since a week and a half, and I’m still here”.

QUESTION; By The Book, did the FDA approve Hydroxy as a prevention drug for Covid19?

    ANSWER; Absolutely not!

THUS, why is he taking/promoting a prevention drug that has not yet been approved by our REGULATORS/FDA?

ANSWER; Because Trump has never been a “By The Book” guy.

Then I showed you that it is not just "people like me", who use the word cure to describe HCQ. People from your side have started threads about HCQ using "cure" in the title. But, keep spinning away.

Yes. In late March, the FDA approved the Emergency Use Authorization for use of Hydroxycloroquine and Chloroquine to treat patients. They revoked the EUA on June 15th stating "The agency determined that the legal criteria for issuing an EUA are no longer met." Also “While additional clinical trials continue to evaluate the potential benefit of these drugs in treating or preventing COVID-19, we determined the emergency use authorization was no longer appropriate. This action was taken following a rigorous assessment by scientists in our Center for Drug Evaluation and Research,” said Patrizia Cavazzoni, M.D., acting director of the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation. “We remain committed to using every tool at our disposal in collaboration with innovators and researchers to provide sick patients timely access to appropriate new therapies. Our decisions will always be based on objective and rigorous evaluation of the scientific data. This will never change.”

One of the reason why FDA issued their warning for use were due to the SAE's due to cardiac events. There are a ton of active trails going right now using Hydroxychloroquine which is an antimicrobial agent with immunomodulatory and antiviral properties in conjunction with other components and has proven to halve the death toll of ARDS patients.

Denying the effectiveness of Hydroxychloroquine is ignoring science... the same thing you all preach daily!

Maybe I provide a "trusted" liberal site showing the results of a highly analyzed and peer reviewed trial using Hyroxychloroquine.

Hydroxychloroquine Lowers Coronavirus Death Rate: Study

“The findings have been highly analyzed and peer-reviewed,” said Dr. Marcus Zervos, division head of Infectious Disease for Henry Ford Health System, who co-authored the study with Henry Ford epidemiologist Dr. Samia Arshad. “We attribute our findings that differ from other studies to early treatment, and part of a combination of interventions that were done in supportive care of patients, including careful cardiac monitoring. Our dosing also differed from other studies not showing a benefit of the drug. And other studies are either not peer reviewed, have limited numbers of patients, different patient populations or other differences from our patients.”

Do you have a double blind study confirming your belief in the FDA?

You really think all FDA approved drugs were subjected to double blind clinical trials befiore approval? Think again.

    Attention Deficit Disorder?

    My question relates to PREVENTION, and relates to your link;

REVIEW OF TRIALS CURRENT TESTING TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF COVID19

......and according to said review, there’s an ongoing clinical study about the effectiveness of HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE as a PREVENTION drug.

Your answer; YES! In late March, the FDA approved......to TREAT patients.

Thus, ONCE AGAIN, did the FDA approve Hydroxychloroquine as a PREVENTION drug for Covid19?

Yes or No?.......and don’t play dumb.

Trump's use of the drug is obviously the driver of all the deadly Fake Science banning the use of HCQ.

You keep repeating this accusation without ever showing any evidence. What is your problem?

I got a major chuckle from that statement.

We have 470 active trials right now with maybe 25 as double blinded. Don't get me wrong, placebo trials are important, but not as common as he/she (have to be careful not to offend in 2020) thinks as clinical trials are moving largely to target cell therapy and immunotherapy which do NOT do any blinding.

It says right there in the legislation

I know of ONE exception and that is because the drug has been around for over a century and pre dates the legislation and even that drug is now undergoing review despite the fact we know it works

There has to be a convincing body of evidence

    Nope!

The driver is lack of scientific evidence the bloody stuff works

AND I note you have yet to provide said evidence

Let me know when you have a randomized double blind study that shows HCQ is effective.
