Rioting and Looting in Chicago

Anybody who dismisses mass, citywide looting as "acting a fool" is part of the problem.

 

While I agree, wholeheartedly, - it's just like fretting about the 'horse that has already left the barn'... don't ya think?

To think that Democrats thought pouring fuel on this fire would help them in the election? Well, not my personality to comply with this sort of thing anyway.

I've never been an Ayn Rand fan but I wonder if Atlas will shrug sometime soon. Why are people supporting these thugs?

Obviously, this looting was an organized flash mob of very organized crimnals.

There is really nothing to stop this from happening indefintely.

The cops can't be everywhere at once.

Until Chicago settles down (which won't be until after a vaccine is approved for widespread use and things are approximately "back to normal", which probably won't be any earlier that Spring 2022), I would suggest 3 cops on every corner armed with AR-15s.

That'll stop the looters.

 

The only reason the police are overwhelmed, is because they understand that they do not have the support of their leadership, and therefore they wisely choose interventions of minimal engagement.

If the police had the support of leadership they could trust, they'd be far more effective at stopping the rampant criminality.

The cops don't have to lock down the entire city. They could focus on hotspots to hit hard, and make an example out of the looters they catch. If lots of looters were getting caught and arrested and prosecuted harshly, the rest of the looters would simmer right down.

 

No one suffered 400 years of oppression. Some people may have been oppressed long ago, including Italians and Irish, but no one alive today is oppressed in the country.

 

Yup, absolutely NO need for the 2nd Amendment... Community property, 'what is good for the masses' - by whatever means necessary...

 

For the looters of today, yes, the Welfare State has subsidized illegitimacy. Black kids from intact two parent families do about as well as white kids.

 

If you go back far enough, I bet all of us have slaves in our past, it was common in the ancient world.

Good point, with the anti-cop sentiment they don't want to go to jail for arresting a thug the wrong way who will probably just be released.

The only things that settles trash like this under Democratic measures is MORE welfare and coddling of the lazy.. Clearly jobs and opportunity doesn't and hasn't changed them in almost a century..

 

It's only emboldens them, sympathizers are actually the catalyst and reason this is getting worse! They would be more helpful if they spoke out against this behavior and stop blaming the 2oo year old British and Sothern democratic ghost... I hate to have to tell you but that visual of violence spawning off of demonstrations by Blacks get painted upon all Blacks and Blacks and allies real or made up are tainted. That is not right but that is reality. When I say spawning I am talking about ANTIFA and random Blacks engaging in looting and rioting.

Look at it this way that visual of that Minneapolis policeman with his knee on George Floyd had caused many people Blacks and some Whites to paint all police by the action of that one Turd of a sorry excuse for a policeman. White people say that "we " should not paint all Police the same. True ? Blacks are being tainted by the few bad guys that is no more right than what the Trump fans right here on this board are doing.

 

Show me how ANY of these thugs were ever oppressed? Do I have the right to loot and riot against Roman Catholics due to the suffering of my people at their hands?

 

You find a way to blame Trump for criminal thugs looting and killing people, exactly what policies of division are you referring to? Well, even more so, when provocateurs tried to come to TEA party events, they were dismiss by everyone and no rioting ever happened at right wing events. Not even at the 2A event where everyone was heavily locked and loaded. And there were many blacks at the 2A event, nothing happened. BLM and ANTIFA are playing off peoples emotions, and theyre not even for all black lives mattering, BLM only care about ushering in Marxism off the graves of 9 unarmed blacks killed by cops.
