Latter day Saints tend to be the most amazingly well read and well informed denomination of Christianity that I have been in contact with so far.

They also tend to be exceptionally polite and tend to be welcoming to strangers even though welcoming people to your church can causes problems. Latter day Saints know that they tend to be looked down on so....... .somebody must be at least somewhat serious or they would not step inside the door of the local ward of the LDS unless they truly had been impressed by their interactions with Latter day Saints in person or perhaps online.

I am of the belief that the LDS church has reached a Critical Mass that can propel them into a position of astonishing influence and power over world events comparable to the life of the Patriarch Joseph who saved Egypt and many other nations from a seven year famine........

.... or to the lives of the Prophet Daniel and his friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah who greatly influenced the Babylonian and Medo -Persian Empires during their times of greatest influence.

In my opinion the ARTISTIC VALUE of this Mormon prophecy from the 1800's is more than merely millions of dollars..... and more than merely billions of dollars but.................

.... admitting that the ARTISTIC VALUE of this "White Horse President Prophecy" can be transformed into diplomatic, educational and even economic value......... would tend to cause envy among other Christians and would tend to lead to persecution of Latter day Saints..... but...........

.... saving the USA Constitution and Dollar....... in my opinion.... .is worth taking considerable risks in order to attempt to accomplish!

Opinion: Will Mitt Romney fulfill a Mormon ‘prophecy’ and save the Constitution?

    https://www.latimes.com/opinion/sto...mney-white-horse-prophecy-mormon-joseph-smith

For the record... I am on a very, very different page than Mr. Mitt Romney when it comes to his opinions about President Trump but............. the conflict that he is creating does have ARTISTIC VALUE...... "a FILM devoid of conflict is boring" (R. W.)

My opinion of President Trump is in line with that of Mr. Mark Taylor.... .but I am not a Latter day Saint yet........ so what would I know???????

    https://sordrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/04-28-11_commander_in_chief.pdf

Also... in my opinion Pastor Rick Joyner is a Christian literary genius comparable to C. S. Lewis.... .like me he is not a Latter day Saint either but.... he will not laugh at the White Horse President prophecy.

Several near death experiencers have explained how Latter day Saints are performing a unique service for the God of Abraham by praying for our ancestors and even getting baptized on behalf of our ancestors.

I believe that the story of the Rechabites of the time of the Prophet Jeremiah in chapter thirty five is relevant to how God views Latter day Saints....... and has plans to use them in huge ways.... much as God decided also to use the Rechabites and their descendants in all generations.

1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the Lord in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,

2 Go unto the house of the aRechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the Lord, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.

    3 Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites;

4 And I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:

5 And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.

6 But they said, We will drink no wine: for aJonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither ye, nor your sons for ever:

7 Neither shall ye build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days ye shall dwell in tents; that ye may live many days in the land where ye be strangers.

    8 Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters;

9 Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed:

10 But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.

11 But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem.

12 ¶ Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah, saying,

13 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the Lord.

14 The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father’s commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me.

15 I have sent also unto you all my servants the aprophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, bReturn ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.

16 Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people hath not hearkened unto me:

17 Therefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not aheard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.

18 ¶ And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he hath commanded you:

19 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.

Latter day Saints already know about multiple levels in the afterlife. This is an absolutely critical concept to get our heads around if we want to be inspired to draw very close to our Creator and understand that the Plan of God for all of us is just as well as merciful but....... we have the power and the freedom and the responsibility to make better and better and better choices and ask our Creator for help in every area of our lives.

I personally was both amazed and impressed when I saw how extensive Latter day Saint understanding of the Spirit World really was.

    I like Mormons.

But I like coffee, booze and tobacco more, so no LDS for me.

Please look at that last paragraph of the LDS teaching that I just quoted:

I am in exactly the same boat..... I noticed that Jesus turned about a hundred and twenty gallons of water into wine for a wedding so I do drink a fair amount of beer each year, (especially during the hot weather).

I also in the past regularly had a cigarette with my brother or with my son when I see them......... but I only smoke a few cigarettes each month so I was pretty sure that smoking so little was not really dangerous.

I also like coffee.... and I am wondering what the leadership of the LDS church would think of coffee..... that is alkaline as opposed to acid..... because Prophet Joseph Smith was confronted with coffee that was very acidic??????

I am of the belief that every aspect of a set of circumstances must be looked at objectively before a truly wise decision can be made....... and...... I strongly suspect that an LDS friend of mine who says that he is autistic may be onto what turns out to be a different response by Latter day Saints over the coming several decades to a formula that sure looks like all out spiritual war ..... the gifted Pastor Rick Joyner termed it The Battle of the Great Day of the Lord Almighty in his book The Final Quest that sure reminds me of some near death experience accounts........ that in my opinion are at this time the best examples of this promise being fulfilled that I know of:

'These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father." (John 16:25)

I have to admit that I definitely do not want to become addicted to either cigarettes or beer or even coffee from what was shown to near death experiencer Dr. George Ritchie back in 1943:

Now to get into my idea on what I feel could be the foundational concept to what I can only term "Unified Field Theory of Modern World Problems."

I FEEL THAT LATTER DAY SAINTS ARE UNIQUELY PREPARED TO PLAY THE ROLE OF AMBASSADORS BETWEEN JEWS, MUSLIMS AND ALL DENOMINATIONS OF CHRISTIANITY.... and also with Atheists and Agnostics and all non- Christian religions as well. Your respect for Isaiah chapter thirty five combined with your acceptance of near death experience accounts by people from all nations and religious backgrounds are some of the reasons why I feel that Mormons can play this critical role in the transition from the kingdom of Satan... as the prince of the power of the air..... .over to the Era of Moshiach the Messiah.. the Millennium to most Christians.

Here is a message from a gifted LDS online friend of mine who says he is autistic..... but we know from the Josiah's Fire case... that God can speak to somebody who is autistic very clearly.

'Josiah's Fire' author talks about her family's journey with autism

What Mr. Joshua Johnson was shown fits perfectly with a lot of information that gifted Christians have been coming out with over these past several years. We are in a war....... and many big churches should somewhat lower their standards for baptism..... much as the Apostolic Church baptized three thousand people in one day......

I feel strongly that this is exactly what is happening........ requirements for baptism should indeed be relaxed at a crucial time in history like this.

For example.. .the gifted Rick Joyner was shown that we are actually in The Battle of the Great Day of the Lord Almighty.

I like Mormons. When I was nineteen I proselytized for six months by two Mormon missionaries. I had been aware of the Mormon faith for a long time. I thought it might be true, and I wanted it to be true. However, I decided to evaluate it rationally.

Other religions base their authority on miracles that happened long ago in the past, so they are impossible to verify or disprove. I was intrigued by the story of the Book of Abraham. Joseph Smith bought an ancient Egyptian manuscript, and announced that he was able to translate it. He claimed that it was a first person account by Abraham of his travels in Egypt. The Mormons added The Book of Abraham to The Pearl of Great Price. They think it is as sacred as the Bible.

However, the manuscript has been found. It has been translated by reputable scholars of ancient Egypt. It has nothing to do with Abraham at all, but with ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses. When I discovered that I decided that Mormonism is not true.

The Book of Mormon claims to be a detailed history of pre Columbian America from about 600 B C. to 421 AD. Archaeologists have learned a great deal about what was happening in the America's during that period. The Olmec, Zapotec, Maya, and Teotihuacan civilizations existed. The writings of the Maya have been deciphered. They make no mention of events written about in The Book of Mormon. On the other hand, The Book of Mormon mentions domesticated animals and crops that did not exist in the Americas at that time.

The Book of Abraham claims that the American Indians are descended from Jewish refugees. who came to the Americas long before Columbus. DNA evidence clearly connects the American Indians with people living in Northern Siberia.

Thank you for this generally positive, informative and encouraging reply to this intriguing topic.

I am NOT looking for a perfect church.... full of perfect people.... I am looking for a church where I will not be disfellowshipped...... shunned.... ostracized.... kicked out.... or ex-communicated for believing that near death experience accounts that include a genuine Life Review with Messiah Yeshua - Jesus are likely the major fulfillment of this promise in the year 2020.

25 “Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father." (John 16:25)

I realize that Prophet Joseph Smith was human...... was tempted... and fell far short of the ideal for a prophet over and over and over again.......... but so have I...... and.....

Auditions for the role of Elijah needed....

I have ran into some interesting evidence for some of the rather unusual teachings of Latter day Saints as I was reading Chassidic Jewish articles on the Lost Tribes of Israel.

    http://www.beta.moshiach.com/index.php/item/ecuador

While I was living in Quito, Ecuador I noticed a custom on New Years by the First Nations peoples of Ecuador that reminded me of the Sukkot or booth that many observant Jews build for The Festival of Tabernacles / Sukkot!

My gifted Latter day Saint friend just wrote me a message that I want to share in full:

I really identify with this story because back in 1991 I suggested to Worldwide Church of God pastor Mr. G... M.... that he may as well disfellowship me....... because I simply could NOT just remain silent regarding the obvious error of the Worldwide Church of God on the question of Soul Sleep.

    National Museum of Natural History
    SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION WASHINGTON, D.C. 20560

STATEMENT REGARDING THE BOOK OF MORMON

    1. The Smithsonian Institution has never used the Book of Mormon in any way as a scientific guide. Smithsonian archeologists see no direct connection between the archeology of the New World and the subject matter of the book.

    2. The physical type of the American Indian is basically Mongoloid, being most closely related to that of the peoples of eastern. central, and northeastern Asia. Archeological evidence indicates that the ancestors of the present Indians cane into the New World - probably over a land bridge known to have existed in the Being Strait region during the last Ice Age - in a continuing series of small migrations beginning from about 25,000 to 30,000 years ago.

    3. Present evidence indicates that the first people to reach this continent from the East were the Norsemen who briefly visited the northeastern part of North America around A.D. 1000 and then settled in Greenland. There is nothing to show that they reached Mexico or Central America.

    4. One of the main lines of evidence supporting the scientific finding that contacts with Old World civilizations if indeed they occurred at all, were of very little significance for the development of American Indian civilizations, is the fact that none of the principal Old World domesticated food plants or animals (except the dog) occurred in the New World in pre-Columbian times. American Indians had no wheat, barley, oats, millet, rice, cattle, pigs, chickens, horses, donkeys, camels before 1492. (Camels and horses were in the Americas, along with the bison, mammoth, and mastodon, but all these animals became extinct around 10,000 B.C. at the time when the early big game hunters spread across the Americas.)

    5. Iron, steel, glass, and silk were not used in the New World before 1492 (except for occasional use of unsmelted meteoric iron). Native copper was worked in various locations in pre-Columbian times, but true metallurgy was limited to southern Mexico and the Andean region, where its occurrence in late prehistoric times involved gold, silver, copper, and their alloys, but not iron.

    6. There is a possibility that the spread of cultural traits across the Pacific to Mesoamerica and the northwestern coast of South America began several hundred years before the Christian era. However, any such inter-hemispheric contacts appear to have been the results of accidental voyages originating in eastern and southern Asia. It is by no means certain that even such contacts occurred; certainly there were no contacts with the ancient Egyptians, Hebrews, or other peoples of Western Asian and the Near East.

    7. No reputable Egyptologist or other specialist on Old World archeology, and no expert on New World prehistory, has discovered or confirmed any relationship between archeological remains in Mexico and archeological remains in Egypt.

    8. Reports of findings of ancient Egyptian, Hebrew, and other Old World writings in the New World in pre-Columbian contexts have frequently appeared in newspapers, magazines, and sensational books. None of these claims has stood up to examination by reputable scholars. No inscriptions using Old World forms of writing have been shown to have occurred in any part of the Americas before 1492 except for a few Norse rune stones which have been found in Greenland.

Joseph Smith claimed that the papyri contained the writings of Abraham and Joseph of Egypt, but modern Egyptologists have confirmed that it is a totally inaccurate translation, entirely unrelated to Abraham or Joseph of Egypt.
Unfortunately for Joseph and modern-day Mormons, the papyri were literal objects that the church has possession of, and Egyptologists are now able to read them easily. According to every Egyptologist who has read the papyri (minus one LDS Egyptologist), they are ordinary funerary texts that were buried with mummies, completely unrelated to Abraham or Joseph of Egypt...

The Book of Abraham also contains blatant translation errors, like listing drawings of women as men, and canopic jars as idols.

    https://zelphontheshelf.com/the-boo...-obvious-fraud-what-the-church-says-about-it/

I feel the appeal of the Mormon faith. The Church of Latter Day Saints is a good place for someone to find a virgin to marry. If one does not have a taste for tobacco and alcohol, it is fine. I was really disappointed when I discovered beyond the shadow of reasonable doubt that Mormonism is not true.

Someone said to me that a cup of coffee can keep me out of the Celestial Kingdom. I asked why? He said that you can't have a Temple Recommend if you don't stay true to your baptismal covenant. And, if you like about the coffee to get a temple recommend, the blessings of the Temple become null-in-void. So, why would anyone who has a testimony of the true Gospel let a cup of coffee keep them from their goal of living with their family, the Lord and Heavenly Father again? My brother-in-law was preparing his grandfather for burial in the funeral home when an angel came to him and told him to put his grandfather's temple recommend in the casket with him. That temple recommend is vital for exaltation. If your goal is celestial glory, then set in motion a plan to qualify for a temple recommend.

I had to give your question considerable thought and finally I do have an answer for you.......

any and all churches that will teach Christians to have their own personal relationship with
Messiah Yeshua - Jesus and...... will teach their members to pray and ask and seek to be
given more and more of the Holy Spirit.........
will produce many Christians who are truly led by the Holy Spirit!

I believe that essentially all churches have some members who are powerfully led by the Holy Spirit....
and many members who have a very small amount of the Holy Spirit.... from my observations the
Latter day Saints have one of the highest levels of infilling of the Holy Spirit that I have encountered.....

my wife is Pentecostal not a Latter day Saint and my impression is that Latter day Saints are playing
around in the same major, major league as the Pentecostal and Charismatic Christians.

The gifted visionary and writer Rick Joyner did a brilliant job of explaining how all churches
face serious challenges from PRIDE and how it twists us up and messes up what could be
win - win - win - win relationships between churches..... I have a plan in mind to attempt to
bring Latter day Saints into a much higher level of cooperation with Pentecostals.

    http://64.71.77.248/fq-protestant/tfq-en.html
In my sixty years of observations of many churches I believe that this visionary dream given to Pastor Rick Joyner in 1994 and 1995 applies to all of the most Holy Spirit led churches on earth. All churches fall into the clutches of PRIDE!

Because Latter day Saints accept the testimony of near death experiencers you are able to identify with the powerful message that near death experiencer Dr. Kevin Zadai is giving to so many. In this video he prays against BigPharma..... BigBanking..... and other types of corruption that........ I personally see only a few groups prepared to step into the GAP... .once the corrupt leaders are removed. To my thinking... Latter day Saints are uniquely prepared to assist America and the whole world to rise up to truly apply JUBILEE..... in every aspect of life!

Latter day Saints are uniquely prepared to understand the idea of HEAVEN ON EARTH.... and understand that our decisions help to make that a reality over the coming years and decades!

Not all Latter day Saints believe in Multiple Mortal Probations but apparently some branches of that church do.

I believe that this doctrine held by some branches of the LDS can play a huge role in a major spiritual awakening for the coming months, years and decades.

The Church of Jesus Christ in Christian Fellowship probably branched from the original LDS decades ago but their article is still interesting indeed!

This whole question can even relate to a surge in positive relations between Christians and Jews that can be led by Latter day Saints.

I firmly believe that many Latter day Saints need to hear the following.....
perhaps you were led to this forum by the Holy Spirit for this very reason.......
all Latter day Saints in the police and the military and the CIA and the NSA and the FBI need to hear this.......

THIS IS AN EXTREMELY IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP. Many of his advisors are giving him terribly flawed advice..... even some who are deeply religious and perhaps somewhat sincere!

King Zedekiah listened to bad advice..... and he suffered immensely for doing so. King Zedekiah should have listened to Jeremiah..... not to the others.

There is a powerful warning for Israel in this message as well.
