How does anybody take this fake news network seriously? Isn't it obvious to you people that they are completely unhinged and have lost any vestige of rational thought?

"On Tuesday evening, CNN awkwardly aired Sandmann's speech as part of the second night of the Republican National Convention"

"CNN political analyst Joe Lockhart attacked former Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann after his network settled a $250 million defamation lawsuit earlier this year."

"I'm watching tonight because it's important. But i [sic] don't have to watch this snot nose entitled kid from Kentucky," Lockhart tweeted. "

Funny, the one sounding like a "snot nose entitled kid" is Lockhart, not Sandmann.

Considering that Sandmann would have been lucky to have cleared $25k from the "settlement", at least they got a story out of it.

Once again I think its important to point out that few - if any - of the 'left' posters on this site watch or follow CNN. We think its garbage too. But you seem determined to slam CNN at every opportunity, thinking you are rubbing our noses in it. You aren't. You are just demonstrating your own obsession with the station...

Someone said this morning how nice it was to see the highest paid executive at CNN have an opportunity to speak at the RNC.
Note to those poo-pooing Sandmands first of a half dozen settlements, the kid will never have to work again but being the good conservative he is, you will be seeing him for a very long time.

Or admit to doing so anyway. The rhetoric from both is identical so even if you were correct your point is moot.

Yea, don't you hate it when public figures take to Twitter to fling empty insults at their perceived political opponents? What kind of person does that?

Kid might manage getting college paid for, but I doubt the settlements are going to give him set for life kinds of cash.

So what was his crime? Wearing a red hat? Standing his ground?

Sandmann received no punishment because he did nothing deserving of punishment. You must be a strict and unforgiving parent if you would kick your teenage son out of your house for wearing a red hat and not running when faced with adversity.

Most suits make lawyers on both sides rich while the winner of the litigation is tossed peanuts. CNN got a huge black eye with this though and their fake news was exposed.

It's obvious the poster you're responding to is talking out of his ass and has no idea what happened in this situation.

His outrageous provocation ... and I'm not talking about the shortened video version that most people only know ... and his brazen lie of claiming that he just wanted to de-escalate. Is clear ....

All the other things, including intellectual garbage that Trump uttered on Twitter, don't interest me.
And as for this lawsuit, it's just ridiculous. But in this regard, the US judicial system works very differently than ours... I know.
Do you remember the woman who sued MacDonalds for damages because she was stupid and spilled hot coffee and got scalded?
At us, the judge would have rightly laughed at her and threw her out of the court with "complaint dismissed". in the US she got right and no one understood this stupidity here once...

CNN was doing that long before any of this kicked off.

You must be mistaking this incident for another incident. There was no provocation from Sandmann in any of the videos (long or short). The Native American approached his group and attempted to provoke a reaction, not the other way around.

Lol ... ever heard of decency teaching your kids? The parents of this spoiled brat seem to have failed badly when he makes such a disgusting provocation.
And as for the idiotic red MAGA cap, it would have been thrown away long ago. When he is an adult and no longer lives with me, then he can do what he wants, but until then my rules at home and for him apply.

Bullcrap ... did you see the long verson too? I guess not!
Yes, the native went to them, peaceful and drumming to stop the shouting between the silly red MAGA hat group and the other black idots there. And what did Sandmann please? Standing smiling and provoking in front of the native.
