I'm not mad at Trump. Don't know what gave you that idea.

I'm talking about voters, not Biden and CNN. If they removed it because they thought it was offensive, so what? I don't think most voters care what CNN and Biden's reasons are for photoshopping an image. There's a pandemic. That's what people care about, not CNN.

Germany did it was nazis. Most Germans do not get the same level of detail about the atrocities committed by that country as the rest of the world. They would prefer just to forget it happened.

Why did they photoshop it? That is the question.

You say above that nobody is trying to erase history. Absolutely they are, CNN is trying to rewrite history and remove an emblem that to the left's culture warriors is offensive.

Here's the thing. If CNN didn't photoshop that, would the left go nuts? If so... THATs the issue for discussion.

The caricature of natives is violent and red skin. I disagree that there is no way that could be negative.

It is not racist and polls showed overwhelming support by native american groups for decades.

Not even close. The identity of a warrior is one of respect and dignity. The negativity you see is only what you imagined. It simply wasn't there in this case.

Are you talking about the logo or the team name?

I think a lot of them think so intensely that they are correct in their views that stuff like this is just a mean to an end. What does it matter that one of the countries major news networks Covertly edits photos As long as their espouse the correct political opinion and want the same people in power as you do?

Huh? Why did you mention trump? Do you not care about
so then why edit it ?? Lol that without even getting into the question of if the media should be editing photos in a fashion such as this? Blurring out gore or people faces for privacy is one thing , but this? Dont you find it odious ?

I don't care why they edited it. I doubt anyone does. It's not an issue. Why would I be concerned about this? It's a social issue, not a government coverup. If enough people don't like what they did, they can complain to CNN and the company will likely listen. It's a harmless social statement. Or maybe Biden wanted it removed because of the name change. Who knows. Who cares.

It can be viewed this way, and that's the image of a football team. Any competitive sports team. The question is whether it's appropriate in today's world. The Cleveland Indians were founded in 1894, as the Grand Rapids Rustlers. They moved to Cleveland in 1900 as the Lake Shores. In 1901 they became the Bluebirds, which was unpopular. Wiki talks about the name change to the Indians, and it sounds a bit strange to me.

With Lajoie gone, the club needed a new name. Somers asked the local baseball writers to come up with a new name, and based on their input, the team was renamed the Cleveland Indians.[12] It is claimed that the nickname "Indians" references Cleveland Spiders baseball club during the time when Louis Sockalexis, a Native American, had played in Cleveland (1897–99);[13] however this is contested by sportswriter Joe Posnanski who argues "Why exactly would people in Cleveland — this in a time when Native Americans were generally viewed as subhuman in America — name their team after a relatively minor and certainly troubled outfielder?" Sockalexis played only 96 games over three seasons, compiling just 367 at bats in his career. Sockalexis also "had to deal with horrendous racism, terrible taunts, whoops from the crowd, and so on," according to Posnanski. According to history professor Jonathan Zimmerman, the franchise was named the Indians by local baseball writers not to honor Sockalexis, but as a reference to the "fun" that he would inspire in crowds and the fact that journalists jokingly referred to the club as the "Cleveland Indians," even though it was officially named the Spiders.[14] "In place of the Naps, we'll have the Indians, on the warpath all the time, and eager for scalps to dangle at their belts," wrote an article in the Cleveland Leader of January 17, 1915. None of the contemporary reports from daily Cleveland newspapers detailing the name change mentions Sockalexis, while each references negative stereotypes of indigenous people in their reports of the name change.[14]

I don't get angry, and China isn't on the ballot.

    It's a hat. Nobody cares.

the Democrat party has become exactly what they pretend to hate. Authoritarian, they will tell you how to live, what to think, how to act, step out of line and they will charge you with a hate crime or cancel you. prove me wrong, you can't.
