Trump: Americans Who Died in War Are ‘Losers’ and ‘Suckers’ President repeatedly disparaged war dead

McCain was petty and vindictive before Trump ever thought of running for president. Hell, it was the Obama campaign telling us how unstable, quick to anger, and what a war monger McCain was, that he never saw a conflict around the world where he didn't want to turn into a war with US boots on the ground.

With his last dying moments, for hate's sake, he spit his last breath at Trump, by casting the deciding vote to NOT repeal the ACA.

Even before he was inaugurated, Trump went out of his way to pay respects to fallen soldiers. so no, his jab was aimed at McCain, no one else. Stop conflating.

 

President Trump has had his detractors within the Federal Government. People that are employed to work for the Executive Branch, but have acted not based on the best interest of the country, but on their own personal bias. So, when you start talking anonymous sources, you have to check whether they are dealing with rumors, or facts. So far, no one has been named as a source, nor has a source stepped forward. It is believed that General Kelly was one of those sources, but again not verified. So, whether this story is true or not depends on whether you support or hate President Trump. Strangely enough there is no middle ground.

One individual at Fox News, Jennifer Griffin, has claimed that she verified the story through a source at the Pentagon. The question that I raised was who at the Pentagon actually was in the room to hear what was said about cancelling the trip to the cemetery. This decision would have been made by his Personal Staff and the Secret Service. No one from the Pentagon would not have been in the room. So, what is the source of their claim? Just rumors? Griffin is a reporter that has worked for the AP and NYT at times. Fox News hires several liberal reporters to give them a balanced approach to the news.

Your comment about the Atlantic is just plain naive. Many publications have long histories, but that does not make them unbiased. The New York Times was founded in 1851 and the Washington Post was founded in 1877. Are you really going to sit there and claim these services are not liberally biased.

BTW, did you notice that the Snopes offered no proof that to back their claim that McCain was not called "Songbird"? All they claim is that it is a debunked story. Yet, I have seen no one claiming that the story had been debunked except those liberal fake fact checking sites, and all they say is that it has been debunked. As far as the Steel Dossier is concerned, it is extremely relevant. President Trump was being accused of being an agent of Russia, or at the very least colluding with them to steal the 2016 elections. Yet, it was the Hillary Clinton Campaign and the DNC that colluded with a former British MI-6 Agent to prepare a fake dossier in order to make it look like President Trump was compromised in order to win the 2016 election. McCain was the front man chosen by Fusion GPS and the Brooking Institute. McCain leaked the fake Dossier to Buzzfeed and Mother Jones. So, McCain, Hillary Clinton, the Fusion GPS and the Brookings Institute are all guilty of the very thing they accused President Trump of doing. This demonstrates how far the detractors of President Trump will go to disparage his good name.

Big Suckers we are .. and thinking about it along these lines - we have all been made losers by this War on Terror - and the "War on Drugs" for that matter.

I agree that anyone who signs up for the military is a loser if they can earn more money elsewhere without risking their life. Even if they can't earn more but don't have to risk their life in their job.

There are monster dupes like Pat Tillman who was killed by his buddies.

Even aspiring politicians don't see any value in military service.

Too many military recruits are psychopaths that are attracted by the ability to shoot people.

Both sides like to lay claims using broad generalities. Trump has never actually disparaged the entirety of our armed forces. He HAS disparaged individuals that either is in it or used to be in it.

Right now Dems are claiming that he has because its politically advantageous for them to do so. Not out of any truthfulness. It's taking advantage of the old adage of "you insult one of <insert whatever here> then you insult every in <insert same of whatever here>"
