    There is a rumor going around, spread by the right, that Antifa and BLM are going around starting fires. My neighbor is a police sergeant and HE HAS BEEN SPREADING THIS CRAP!

    But the FBI ran an investigation and they say there is no evidence the arsonists have any ties to Antifa, BLM, or Proud Boys.

    What starting wild fires?! I never heard this. Is this spreading on Twitter and Facebook or something? I don't Facebook. Rots the brain.

    I mean we can expect that the ANTIFA and BLM are the most likely to be the ones starting the fires in the protests but what do they have to do with wild fires?

    This is ridiculous, why would anyone think the Proud Boys would be starting fires?

    Sounds like the title of this thread is designed to divert a little attention away from Antifa.

    I suspect that the trump gang is behind most of the violence going on around the country. They piggyback on to legitimate demonstrators and cause trouble, hoping to scare people into supporting trump’s demagoguery. Arson is probably a favorite tactic for them.

    Because there are images and multiple tapes of people dressed like ANTIFA and BLM doing so. It could be a false flag but there are also a lot of arrests of protestors for doing these things so it's not likely.

    Well if we want to look closely at the situation, Trump and his campaign benefit the most from violence, looting and fires at BLM protests.

    The Riverside Fire which is the largest in Oregon right now was created by human stupidity. The fire was a result of someone starting a campfire in the Riverside camping area in 55 mile per hour winds. The Riverside Campground was full of homeless meth dealers last time I drove by it, which was a couple of days before the fire started. It wasn't started by Antifa.

    I have never heard even a single word about rumors that Antifa started the wildfires. Antifa commits arson in urban settings only, as far as I know. I think it is undeniable that Antifa has committed hundreds, if not thousands of acts of arson in Portland in the last 100 days.

    Then there was this guy who is suspected of starting a wildfire:

    Jeff Acord, Black Lives Matter Supporter, Streamed His Arrest While Filming Washington Fire

    "1. He Was Arrested After Filming a Facebook Live Video Where a Fire Had Just Started
    On September 9, a 36-year-old man from Puyallup, Washington was arrested on suspicion of starting a fire on SR-167, Q13 Fox reported. Although the article didn’t name him specifically, it did link to a video that Jef Acord posted on Facebook, noting that he was the man arrested and he had been filming live on Facebook before his arrest. In his video, Acord said he happened upon the fire while looking for a lost camera.

    You can watch the live video he posted to Facebook below, which was a public video. It has some profanity in it. He posted under the name “Jeff Demologik Acord.”

    In the video, Acord is wearing a mask and saying that he just rolled up on the fire. He said that he was there with the police because he had just called the fire in. He zoomed in on the fire during the 39-minute video and said it was growing and crossing the road.""

    Acord is open about his support for Black Lives Matter, but there’s no indication that he’s associated with Antifa. In early June, he shared that he was going to be participating in a march in Seattle.

    His posts were about Black Lives Matter though, not Antifa. He posted that George Floyd should not have died.

    However, he also posted on Facebook that he disagreed with looting and wanted a GoFundMe set up for local business owners.

    He wrote: “There needs to be a patroon / go-fund-me acct set up for the local business owners that were looted and affected by last nights looting and rioting.. This sh** is NOT okay.. The message needs to be HEARD not SEEN..” "
