Biden's not doing this, but it would be a great debate. Shame we'll never see it.

This needs to happen with *or without* Biden.

I'm. On. Board. He's a great moderator for interviews, though not sure about his experience with debates. I'd love to see this AND a team of live fact-checkers. I feel like Rogan is mostly cordial with his guests and only calls them out on their bullshit when he's high . . . so maybe that should be a requirement too.

Trump needs to do at least one debate, he refused to do any during the primaries, we need at least one

    Biden has done many

I would caveat one rule for the debates. Joe must be live, and no teleprompters allowed for his team to feed him answers to read.

President Trump already agreed to it. If Biden's team shared your confidence, all they would have to do is agree to the debate. Any guess on why they haven't yet?

Problem is once people like Rogan are candidates to moderate debates you will also have to consider others like Trevor Noah or Stephen Colbert?

I love Rogan, and I'd love to see this work, but let's face it: he has a well-deserved reputation for letting people run rampant with crazy claims without checking them. Trump could get on Rogan's podcast and talk about any of his insane conspiracy theories (Obama was born in Kenya! Cruz's dad killed Kennedy! Joe Scarborough murdered his aide!) and Rogan would kind of go along with it due to his agreeable nature. Hell, he typically doesn't even stand up to flat earthers unless he's high. Trump LOVES spinning random lies off-the-cuff. Without some kind of support, I don't think Rogan can keep up with that.

It's not the moderator's job to keep up with that, it's the debate opponent's.

If a moderator hears something insane, they should speak up. I'm glad some have done so in the past. Unfortunately, in the age of serial liars and conmen like Trump, every debate should have a team of live fact checkers. He can barely breathe without lying.

On Trevor Noah.... isn't he the obvious example of there is no structural racism, or impediment to success in this country? Just sayin.... He seems a bit tone deaf to the fact that as an immigrant, he's been able to reach the highest level of success in his field. Just laughable.

I think when you look at entertainers and athletes it is hard to use them as an example for the masses. They make up such a minute fragment of the population that it would be foolish to used them as an example of success or failure.

There isn't a team of live fact-checkers anywhere that more than about half the country would trust to get it right. Fact-checkers are more often than not just partisan actors trying to use the guise of 'fact-checker' to advance their side's political agenda.

Please.... I was just trying to answer your question reasonably. I wasn't even trying to be offensive just pointing out bigger considerations. Your need to attack and belittle is unwarranted.

Combining yours with Rostars' would be good. Trump picks the mod for Fox, Biden ABC, and CNN just plays host.

LOL... so the gratuitous ad hom about being "foolish" wasn't your own attack meant to belittle? Gosh... So, your thesis is that Trevor is what? An Anomaly? I'm sure he'd have other comments. The fact remains that he's a very successful immigrant, person of color, and frankly example to all given his level of success.

They should put him in depends so he doesn't have one of the accidents... It might give him more confidence.

I have no thesis. I am simply pointing out that using a single case to draw conclusions about a greater population is problematic. I was trying to point out that entertainers and athletes are outliers because they represent a minute part of the population. You could take the example of Jack Johnson. Just because he became heavy weight champion and made lots money did not mean that systemic racism was over is the early 1900.
