Trump accepts offer to debate Biden for 4 hours

You wouldn't have to lock the door Biden couldn't remember where it was after 30 minutes. And Trump would be having to much fun to leave.

 

That's funny, but I'm serious. I don't need a third party to inject their own spin on a debate between my choices for leadership. I don't mean just Biden and Trump. We have the technology now for all election debates between candidates to be actual conversations between the two. It would cost next to nothing to have a good presentation of who each of the candidates are.

Instead we're locked into this convoluted production of competition for 10 second sound bites on private media providers.

I'm surprised you said that, because on camera in front of the nation everyone will see Biden's clueless facial expressions to go along with his clueless answers.

 

Why would Biden accept?

He's ahead in all the polls in all the battleground states.

Trump has been publicly self-mutilating since March, his approval rate does not pass the 43% mark and there are only 5% undecided.

Biden has no interest in debating against Trump, who seems to be chasing a horse much too fast for him.

For Trump to ask for a 4-hour debate against Biden, it's certain that he believes the polls as well.

 

Trump IS the sitting president, and any candidate worth his salt would chomp at the bit to debate him. It's free publicity and the sitting president is busy running the country and all the challenger has to do is prep for the debate. I've never heard of anyone not wanting to debate the person who he's trying to unseat.

Face it, you know it, I know it, the entire country knows it, and that is Biden is likely to implode or put his foot in his mouth real deep with every chance he gets to speak, especially when he's asked questions.

 

And this is how fake news starts, Trump didn't ask for the debate, it was offered to him and he accepted. Now what would you have said if he turned it down?

 

Run with that, the truth is Trump doesn't run from a challenge. Thing is, this would be a cake walk. Trump wouldn't have to say a word, let Biden sink himself.

As low as Trump and his supporters are making that bar, Biden just has to breathe and the Country will vote for him over Trump.

As we speak, the chances are very low that voters will change their choice. And it's not Biden's absence from a 4-hour debate that's going to change that.

Meanwhile, Trump struggles to bring Biden into the arena as the match eludes him completely.

A 4 hour long conversation jre style where Trump and Biden could talk as long as they want on a subject would be super productive.

The current debate format is garbage and just fit for making sound bites, not expressing ideas.

 

Rogans show and format is infinitely better for expressing ideas than a presidential debate, which is garbage. They give someone 90 seconds to talk about healthcare or defense and then cut them off.

You can't meaningfully discuss anything in the current debate format.

 

Accept what? Biden has accepted all 3 debates.
