"Herd Immunity" basically translates to "I'm not going to do crap about slowing the spread of the virus because I don't give a ****!!!" Remember the Herman Caine!

I'm proud of you! But... (there is always a "but") ... even though there is a device that was developed at the Cedars Sinai Hospital quite some time ago, the use of that device is yeaaars away (if ever) from being even tested in human subjects, and unlikely to be of any help for Covid 19. You see... UV lights at the doses that would be necessary are immensely dangerous and, though likely to kill Covid 19, it's even more likely to kill the patient in the process by producing a devastating cancer. One of the reasons you should never look at the sun directly.

Nice excercise, though. Keep it up.

    Oh... BTW

Remember Herman Caine you say? Herman would prefer freedom over the lockdowns, I guarantee. Quit using his name as if you know him, you only know his name from what someone told you.

I had a plan way before the ACA, which was NOTHING at all like the name. My personal healthcare costs quadrupled after the ACA was passed. I used to have options. I have none now. Zero. There is 1 provider in my area and it is crap insurance. The ACA killed insurance for the average middle class American. It might be the single worst piece of legislation ever passed in my lifetime.

Gee- It's not like the opposition has done everything they could to throw rocks in the machinery or divert focus to a hundred other useless things, is it?

You won't like his health plan anyway, it will probably be something that will work but is actually fair instead of stupid.

The cost of health insurance is all most dems (and Obama) focused on- when what they should have been focusing on it why the cost of health care is so vastly beyond the cost of performing health care.

I went to the ER a couple months ago with a muscle spasm issue. I knew exactly what was wrong and what was needed, but of course, they had to run through a few recital steps. I was there just over an hour.
The bill was $13,859.00. $3,000 of that was the base charge for walking in the door. A Tylenol in a hospital costs $15.00, where it costs 15 cents at the grocery store.

You are surely smart enough to look at that and realize that there has to be a lot of people pumping money out of the health industry that has nothing to do with the actual cost of health, and of course- they are deeply committed to protecting their interests, and funding the politicians who help them do it. I hope that as a businessman, Trump's plan will address the cost of the care rather than the cost of insurance, so that the insurance can come down. That's the way business people think- and politicians hate it. He expects to put it on the table before the election.

Is this a joke? I know what I had then and I know what I paid personally... I know what my companies paid out. I know the options we have now are total crap and 4x more expensive compared to even 10 years ago.

Obama fubared health insurance for every responsible working person in this country. Thats a demonstrable fact.

The ACA was a garbage cost shifting scheme that decimated the middle class.

The only insurance the ACA cancelled was junk insurance.
Have you considered you are just getting screwed.

Trump says a lot of stupid ****, doesn't mean the executive branch of the federal government should be concerning itself with things best left to state legislatures.

False. The ACA ruined healthcare for everyone but the deadbeats. It took away choices and stifled competition to the point that its undeniable. There used to be 8 insurance carriers in my area. Now because of the ACA there is 1. The ACA can't go away fast enough for me. It has destroyed healthcare in my state.

Mixed bag. The information in the article was more or less accurate. The title was fraudulent.

I am perfectly content with my current insurance provider and have been as long as I have been covered by them. I see no reason to make it more expensive or less beneficial in the name of insuring other people. Many of the obamacare plans were horrible policies, especially the bronze plans. They were more putting the thumb on the scale to technically provide even worse than catastrophic coverage insurance that was as good as no insurance for most of the people with them just to pretend something big had been done.

Trump's plan is to lower prescription drug prices and to make health insurance competative and health care shoppable. AND that is working for me.. 1st thing he did was remove the mandate AND the $5000 fine.. which was a huge relief.. and within a year, we were getting quotes for insurance that were magnitudes less than before and the same with deductibles (from $10K for the most basic policy to $3000 in my case) I actually went to the doctor for th efirst time in over 45 years starting last month.

That post is so filled with factual errors I can't help wondering why you think anyone would believe a word you wrote.

Nope. Congress has to pass legislation creating a new plan. Nothing prevents the admin from designing one to be voted on.

Read it and weep. I do. My personal experience isn't riddled with factual errors, because it happened. Its a fact my costs have quadrupled. Its a fact that all the healthcare choices in my ENTIRE STATE have all but dried up. Its a fact that no insurer wants to participate in the ACA because it is garbage. Since the ACA was passed every working responsible person who used to pay for insurance has seen their costs skyrocket to levels that are almost unbearable. Deadbeats and indigents and illegals get free healthcare by mooching off our overpayments. All the ACA did was royally screw everyone who was already doing the right thing and being responsible. Everyone knows this - its not even in dispute.

The claims about your personal experience do not line up with how the ACA has impacted people nationally. So even if they are accurate, a highly dubious assumption, they mean squat for 99.9% of Americans.

My claims are echoed by every single responsible person in this country who actually paid for healthcare before the ACA was implemented. The ACA ruined healthcare choices and exploded costs. It was and is garbage that needs to be repealed and replaced. Thankfully its all but been gutted now but the damage has already been done. Costs will never go back down.

Right as rain. But I fail to see the humor in it.
