    I'll be a bit less than impressed if McConnell can't pull this off.

    But then again, we are talking about DC.

    The Rs had two years in full control and managed only to pass one major piece of legislation.

    An act that has contributed apparently to increasing deficits every year under Ryan.

    Good luck to your team, there's a decent chance they'll not get it done.

    But if they do, caveat emptor bro, how are Gorsuch and Kavanaugh working out for you so far?

    In all honesty, they should wait otherwise it'll cement in many minds that they are nothing more then hypocrites and lastly, they claim they will win the election anyway, so what's the rush?? Why not wait until the results of the election are determined and Trump is re-elected as many here claim??

    Trump would actually save American lives by making his nomination Monday. The left are trying to suppress rioting until after the election. After the election, the left have no reason to not riot and it will be a mess trying to nominate a justice.

    I think this will force Biden to say who he'd pick-and he's stuck with a black female. and guess what-he doesn't have any black females that have the credentials of the people Trump can choose from. He's stuck with promising a black female. And Lets look at Anne C Barrett. Supreme court clerk and a valedictorian at a very good law school -does Biden have a black female with that credential? Yes he does-maybe better. Does he have one that is a Circuit Appellate judge? No.

    The two I keep hearing are these:
    : Justice Leondra Kruger of the California Supreme Court, and Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson of the federal district court in Washington, D.C. A state supreme court judge is seen as inferior to a Federal court of appeals as is a federal district court judge. Kruger has some serious academic credentials-Harvard, Yale Law and a law clerk for Stevens on the Supreme court. she probably is the top person who meets Biden's quota requirements. Her father is Jewish, her mother Jamaican. She is seen as a moderate. Ketanji Brown Jackson: an Honors graduate of HLS-she clerked for Breyer on the US Supreme Court. District judges are rarely considered for the USSC but her academic record is pretty strong.
