Trump's an A$$ all too much of the time, but he is a very smart man.

Biden is a nice guy, but he IS AN ABSOLUTE MORON!

Common sense says we need a leader with brains, so pretty easy to pick between the two if one has common sense!

It truly is as simple as that!

I’m voting for the guy who knows Washington didn’t capture the British airports during the revolution.

Replacement of RBG isn’t an abuse of power by itself — it becomes one considering what Mitch did with Garland however. I fully expect him to do so — just as I expect Democrats to abuse theirs in retaliation to this.

It would not be seen as an abuse of power if the Senate had granted Garland a hearing and a vote.

I would not blame it on Trump, I blame Republicans in the senate for creating a new rule in 2016 for Obama, then not following it themselves in 2020 - Sad!

It would seem there has been 29 "Abuses of power" as that is how many nominations there has been for SCOTUS during an election year.

you know it, dems will just seat more justices than 9 when they get power, rules mean nothing if they are arbitrary

President nominates and then Senate through "advice and consent" confirms. Its really that simple. Anything else is a just a sad talking point. They dont even need hearings it can go straight to a vote.

Because nothing is guaranteed. CNN had Hillary at a 93% chance of winning. Look how that turned out. Just because you think that you're going to succeed, doesn't mean that you don't prepare for not succeeding. The chances of getting shot in this country by a gun owner with a license to carry is less than 1%. Yet most (not all) Dems continue to try and curb their Rights because they believe there should be an absolute zero chance that you get shot by someone. Same thing here with trying to put a judge on the SCOTUS bench. Chances might be small, but its not absolute zero.

Seat 6 more justices, implement the Wyoming rule, add a few states to the Union.

I bet norms and decorum will suddenly become important to the right again but it will be too late. With Texas trending purple and overall demographics going against conservative “principals” — it could all get very interesting.

Sure, sure, Trump's a very smart man... who routinely gets even the plainest facts wrong. At least I have the sense to know what I'm voting for.

I wouldn't put it past Demokrats to fabricate this "abuse of power/constitutional abuse" in order to actually abuse power themselves, i.e., go Full Banana Republic and expand & stack the SCOTUS. They're predictable that way.

The Biden Rule is not arbitrary. It was made by Demokrats for Republicans, and Demokrats don't have to abide by the rules they make for others.

Technically, it isn’t an abuse of power — it is completely within their power. It is however a dismissal of a norm, but the right has already done that.

    Can you blame them?
