The system. You don't honestly think no one has ever thought of this before?

What do you think would happen when turnout exceeds 100%?

They don't have to forge 50,000,000 signatures. They only have to find enough favorable ballots to overcome the announced results on election night in a few key states. I lived through that bullshit in MN when Senator Norm Coleman was leading Al Franken until they literally found a trunk full of uncounted ballots. They kept counting over and over for two months until Franken was declared the victor.

So? Signature verification is superfluous. Because voter fraud with mail-in ballots would be easy to spot. I would not advice you to try. It's a felony and could land you in prison. Plus... one vote in North Carolina is NOT going to elect Trump. But I predict in some places (I don't know NC) there will be Trump supporters who attempt to vote twice following Trump's instructions. It won't work either, but it will land them in prison.

But there will be more attempts that in any other elections in history. For the only fact that Trump told his followers to cheat.

How can you vote for a creep who would tell his supporters to vote twice, knowing that it could land them in prison... just to get him elected?

    Serious question... please answer.

This escapes me as well. Two things have been established. Mail-in voting does not favor one party over the other, and what miniscule amount of fraud that does occur is being perpetrated by Democrats, Republicans and common criminals alike. The idea of a shadow operation being coordinated by Democrats right under the Republican's noses is fantasy.

Big city machine politics means almost all of it happens on the left in those cities.

You're supporting my point with those links. When something exceeds 100%, people take notice. LA county is removing 1.5 million from the registration rolls. This is what is supposed to happen. It's a shame that counties can't stay current, but the problems do get corrected.

Now, since the argument is voting twice, it's conceivable or even likely that mass double-voting will result in turnout exceeding 100%. That's my point. An investigation will occur, just as it did in your example, and the proper action will result. People who chose to vote for their deceased grandparents will get caught when registration rolls are crosschecked, again, as they were in your example.

Yes because there are more older people here in Florida than in those other states. And he won that demographics in 2016. And most of them voted by mail in 2016. Plus, they tend to be more weary of going to crowded voting polls on elections day... And his lap-dog governor DeSantis has made sure they will be very very crowded on election day. But, from what I've seen, this year most of them are not as "excited" to vote for him, given his lamentable handling of the pandemic and his treating them as if they were "disposable".

I received my absentee ballot on 23 Sep 20 and filled it out, made sure I signed everything and took pictures of my ballot sealed it up and put in the drop box at the board of elections today! I will volunteer to drive democratic voters to the polls, if they need a ride! I did not want to take a chance with the mail?!!

Walk to the polls, bring your ID, machine with paper ballot backup. No need to investigate and go through millions of ballots which just invites fraud.

    - As long as you are insistent about talking down to the finest detail, the concept of a few hundred was mentioned specifically because of Florida in 2000. Florida has an automatic recall whenever an election is within a quarter of a percentage point .With millions of extra unused ballots floating around, several thousand magically appearing in the pile is not at all difficult to envision, especially in a situation where you have recounts that can easily take weeks to complete. Recounts do happen quite frequently, and in Florida specifically they just has another in 2018.

Your insistence to the contrary does not comport with recent history in the state of Florida, not to mention that such a scenario could happen elsewhere as well.

-My position does not "have to assume that fraud all came from one side".

Where are ballots "floating around" and what kind of "magic" gets them on the "pile," whatever that is? You can't just make things up.

    Recounts sift out fraudulent ballots.

Unless the fraud is overwhelmingly from one side or the other, the results are unaffected.

Even if Colorado has a reliable system, Colorado is not emblematic of the other 49 states.

It's not the number of confirmed fraud cases that matter, they will always be few, but instead the number of unconfirmed fraud cases that matter; and mail-in-balloting is ripe for harvesting a huge number of unconfirmed fraud cases, which is how the Dems will steal the election.

It's like dropping millions of ballots out of a helicopter, and believing that every ballot will end up at the right place, be delivered to the right polling place, and be counted accurately at the right polling place. Ain't going to happen folks.

There's a reason why it's only the Democrats supporting this fiasco, and it's because they know it allows them to cheat like hell, and steal the election in the process.

    "unconfirmed fraud cases" matter?

    You mean rumor and innuendo?

Most absentee or mail-in ballots are rejected because required signatures are missing or don't match the one on record, or because the ballot arrives too late.

Get the damn thing out early and make sure you sign it clearly

Lol. No, they're delivered in the mail, not dropped from a helicopter.

The democrats should vote by mail. Republicans should vote in person. That should make everyone happy.

-You do not understand that there is a collection of ballots that exist to be run through the voting machines? This is referred to as the pile. When it comes to a recount, that "pile" has not one singular connection to the signed envelopes in which they arrived.

-Recounts most certainly DO NOT sift out fraudulent ballots. Ballots are nameless and faceless. They cannot be re interpreted as to whether or not it was cast fraudulently. When you are talking about 9 million votes, such oversight is nothing short of impractical.

-Have you never heard of any ballots being "found" during recounts? If a state like Florida has an extra 2 or 3 million unused ballots floating around, the odds of more being "found" in a close election logically go up exponentially.

Seems that the people who promote and defend the tools that best allow cheating are the people who know that they can only win by cheating.
From this morning's news... another report of an incident that they deny ever happens.

"Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced four arrests Thursday on dozens of felony charges in connection with an alleged vote harvesting scheme during the 2018 Democratic primary elections in Gregg County."

“It is an unfortunate reality that elections can be stolen outright by mail ballot fraud,” Paxton said in a statement. “Election fraud, particularly an organized mail ballot fraud scheme orchestrated by political operatives, is an affront to democracy and results in voter disenfranchisement and corruption at the highest level.”

Gregg County Commissioner Shannon Brown, Marlena Jackson, Charlie Burns and DeWayne Ward face 134 felony charges in total, according to Paxton’s office. The allegations include election fraud, tampering with a governmental record, mail-in ballot fraud and more."

Which would equal two charges when - not if - you're caught.

My bad ... sarcasm doesn't always come across in a written medium.

None of this would be an issue if Trump didn't need it to be. See the second link in the OP. Voter fraud, by mail or in person, is very rare in the U.S. Trump has his believers spun up over nothing. He needs this election to be chaotic and the result as questionable as possible because he knows he has no way to win other than his usual way, which is to cheat.
