She might not want to move away, or suffer a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the base of the skull.

I'd like our country to not be so full of congenitally stupid people who think wearing a mask is commie plot.

It's not very clear, but the exemptions do not appear to apply to spectators.

Section 7C, clause ii: Spectators must wear a cloth face covering at all times. Exceptions are covered in clause iii, but they appear to address only employees of the venue.

Good work on the research, but it's not exactly clear what the order permits.

Section 'B', which starts at the bottom of page 4, is titled "Spectators". Move on down to article vi of that section and it clearly states the exemptions.

Yes, I saw that. Taken as a whole, the order is pretty ambiguous. It does give localities the power to tighten restrictions, but like you said, that doesn't appear to cover spectators. The orders concerning venues, like I said, doesn't appear to give an exemption to spectators.

It's something for the court to sort out. Again, good job digging that up.

Arrest the damn 'Mask Nazi's' of this totalitarian driven state... Do they even have a cursory semblance of knowledge? Constitution / Bill of Rights... I am wondering out loud... imho ~ of course.

Stuff like this can happen when laws/rules/directives are made up on the fly. Everybody gets confused. That's one of the reasons I argued earlier that the cop should have made more of an effort at de-escalation.Did you notice that the girl was released outside the stadium? After all that, they just let her go.

Yes, I agreed that government is good at screwing things up. I'm not feeling this woman's pain, however. It's a football game and a mask. She was aware of the rules and broke them willingly. Whether the rules themselves are legal is unclear, but it's not her place to refuse to leave. Leave, then challenge the rule.

It makes sense they'd let her go. They wanted her out, and arresting her was the only way to accomplish that. If she does it again, I doubt they'll be as forgiving.

Facts not in evidence, there is a state mandate in my state with a $500 fine and schools are under the orders of the school boards. Why should a few people get ALL the games shut down because they refuse to follow the science and state mandates and wear mask.

And I had to go to Lowes and Home Depot today looking for repair materials for my minor hurricane Sally damage and inside each saw 5 or 6 ADULTS not wearing mask inside and the stores mandate on their own. I would hope they start kicking them out and refuse to finish any sale with them.

Well excellent. We can now start arresting ALL peaceful protesters not wearing a mask. For example in Louisville just two days ago, there were hundreds if not thousands of unmasked individuals...

Does Corona mysteriously become benign when you pack thousands of unmasked "peaceful protesters" shoulder to shoulder?

If she has such an asthmatic condition then surely she has a medical ID card stating as such which she could show the officer and apparently she wore one into the stadium and certainly showed NO SIGNS of breathing difficulty in her yelling and screaming like the spoiled and petulant child she is.

She should have simply said "yes officer" and pulled up her mask.

They should all be cited for not wearing masks but it looks like the police have other things to worry about. Quite a bit different than a junior high school football game.

They only released her after charging her, the criminal trespass and other charges still pending, along with charges against someone who apparently interfered and they should charge her. Make her pay $100 fine a 100 hours of community service and see if she refuses to wear her mask.

I'm not aware of medical id cards stating what's wrong with you. Anyway, hipaa laws protect a person's privacy in those matters. Really, these exemptions are an honor system thing when you get down to it.

yep, too many cops take it personally when someone disagrees with them or makes them look bad, they need to be professional, and rise above it... they work for us, we pay their paychecks

I have light asthma, medicated for it, no medical card - that said, I would wear a mask - even though I do not like them

and I would not go to a crowded place without one cause if she does catch it, she could die as it affects the lungs and people with weaker lungs have a harder time surviving covid

I would also leave if asked

It would be "interestingly / enlightening" - God forbid...! (shows what 'sheeple' state that we exist in) should she have legitimately exercised her CONSTITUTIONAL rights under the 2A...

If it had been a black man who was shot in the back by the police during a routine traffic stop, you guys would be defending the hell out of them.

Actually we have had at least six RINOs claiming to be more conservative than anyone else on this forums system whom -- mysteriously -- ALWAYS endorsed all things leftist in nature, no matter its over-the-top radical nature. Two of them finally ceased pretending and admitted that they had been leftists all along.

As of now we have at least two on-again and off-again -- more conservative than anyone else -- posters still doing the same thing. It's fascinating to watch. But one wonders whom they think they are fooling; and why they would bother trying.

Sure and medical alert necklaces and medical alert bracelets, I carry one and someone with a claimed serious asthma should be carrying one in case they get hurt or injured and EMT's can be made aware of that condition and emergency can be made aware of it. And no it's not a HIPPA matter. You know like handicapped parking, you have to show the need and have the plate or placard. And apparently as witnessed by her ability to yell and scream at the top of her lungs perhaps this was like those people who cheat at handicapped parking.

    No we wouldn't be.

Sorry, but your fake "black man" talking points aren't working. You're going to have to come up with some other talking point to justify tasing, handcuffing, and arresting a young woman for no reason other than not wearing a mask in an open outdoor environment.

but the right approves of this, all she had to do was not resit

resisting gives the cops the right to do whatever they want, they could have handcuffed her then took a knee to her neck for 10 minutes and some would defend it - and if she had asthma, they would just say, it was not the knee to the neck that killed her, it was the asthma
