    Biden never served and earned the right to call FELLOW service people "bastards" as if he belongs to that fraternity. He likes to ACT tough as if he did with his leather airman jacket and aviator sunglasses.

    You mean like Mike Pence sporting an aviator jacket and giving a tough speech on North Korea a few years ago?

    This isn't a partisan thing, politicians always do stuff like that regardless of what side of the aisle they're on. They also routinely use words like "we" when talking about successful military operations as if they had any actual part in it. "We got Bin Laden, we got Bagdadhi" etc.

    Unprofessional of Biden sure but no disrespect was intended, he was clearly joking around with them.

    Guy outside the military talk to each other that way too. My buddies and I like to diss each other in a friendly way when we go out drinking. Its something you might not understand if you don't hang out with people a lot.

    The video reminds me of when Jeb Bush was begging for applause, by asking the Audience to Please Clap, Biden did the same thing when he called these Service Members Stupid Bastards when they didn't

    When I was in the service, talk like that coming from a superior would be considered polite. I wouldn't say it was unprofessional at all. Probably loosened the guys and and gals up.

    No this is worse. What Trump did? Without evidence the media claimed Trump was accused of saying WWI dead were suckers and losers according to anonymous sources. Nearly a dozen of Trump's staff and entourage debunked the accusatuons saying it never happened. This includes disgruntled former Trump appointees Gen Kelly and Ambassador Bolton.

    This is irrefutable evidence that Joe Biden said this. You're dang straight it's not the sams as...one is a false allegation the other is true.

    Really? Because I was in the military 30 years ago and this would have been considered an Article 15 offense even 30 years ago. He was speaking to Airman. As a former USAF airman I am deeply offended. And I would be if Donald Trump said it. That is not a partisan deal. At least not for me. It is for Democrats. They don't care about insulting the military as much as they care about protecting their incompetent politician.

    It's not unprofessional but folks on the outside would likely see it as such. Most of the rhetoric and "norms" in the military would get you fired instantly in the civilian world if you acted like that at work lol.

    Eh, this is normal everyday talk in the military even today. In the Army at least anyway, perhaps the Air Force is more "civil". If the Army had a civilian-esque HR Department then we would have no Army if stuff like this were enforced.

    Trump said something stupid about McCain several years ago so the media figured they would get away with BS that they hoped would hurt his polling, which of course worked because people are dumb enough to believe "anonymous sources" are inherently powerful people in the know. The truth is an anonymous source is more likely a janitor at CNN. Without specificity we have no basis besides our own biases to believe it, especially at a time when it seems all television news is so clearly partizan.
